    15/10/2021 Duração: 34min

Throughout the 2021 season, the White Sox appeared to be living up to the hype: an über-talented fun-loving juggernaut of a roster that was bludgeoning its way through the American League. It felt like they were taking the next step in their development as a genuine World Series contender as the calendar turned to October. Four games later, they gone. 13/10/2021 Duração: 01h12min

This week's Trans Sporter Room continues our deeper look into trans athletes stories that many haven't heard, but need to hear. In 2011, the NCAA began their transgender student-athlete policies. The NCAA provided a pathway, and Taylor Edelmann walked it, not only becoming a player, but also a team captain. Save a few articles his senior year, including one by Outsports, what happened largely flew under the radar. Edelmann was among the first. Karleigh Webb sat down with Edelmann in a far-reaching interview that looks back, but also looks at how making a piece of collegiate sports history as affected him as an LGBTQ health care advocate, husband and father. Today, Kieran joins me for a a fascinating, intellectual, and inspiring discussion about his coming out experience while riding the buses in Minor League Baseball. After hearing about how many of Lovegrove's teammates responded positively and encouraged his journey toward embracing his true self, I have never felt better about the direction in which baseball is headed. We also delve into Kieran's work with The Fair Ball Campaign and Advocates for Minor Leaguers to achieve these goals. You can visit that important organization here. All tha
