When I finalized my plans for my podcast I knew my first guest had to be Cyd. I found Outsports.com in 2000, i am a bisexual male struggling to fit into any group of people. Reading Cyd's writings, being a part of the Outsports community and continuing to hear the amazing coming out stories that they were telling made me feel like was a part of something. In this episode we talk about how Cyd and Jim met, the founding of Outsports and some of the bigger stories that Cyd has told. On March 12th I released two episodes to start my new podcast. Growing up I always loved the Olympics, both summer and winter. With the winter olympics figure skating always took a lot of the coverage. It was an honor and a privilege to have Canadian Olympic figure skater, Eric Radford as one of the first guests. This is one of 4 interviews I would do the weekend before I aired my first podcast episode. So thankful for the early guests that took a chance on a podcast that had not launched, also VERY thankful for Eric Radford allowing me to use one of his songs as my theme song for the first season of the podcast. In this episode we spoke about his early years and how it was filled with music and figure skating. We talk about a career in figure skating that started out not being accepting of homosexuality.
