The debt of flesh (death) has been paid; why then, do we live unto debt that does not exist? We're used to living unto debt/in the flesh. Brad talks about not living in that debt but instead in the Spirit.

How does faith in Jesus actually lead to real life change? Nick's message gives some clarity; if you have faith in Jesus, you are living in the Spirit, not the flesh and that's what's the difference.

All of us want to be free; are you letting Jesus free you or are you trying to be free by yourself? When we pursue our own freedom, it doesn't seem as we wanted. When we find freedom in God's design- now that's really free.

Brad teaches us from Paul's letter to the Romans in chapter 7 about doing what we don't want to do and how we try to change by modifying our behavior but that's not the answer. We do what we don't want to do because we have forgotten what's been done for us- we forget Jesus.

Grant preaches from the end of chapter six in Romans; we are slaves to something- either sin or righteousness. He asks the question, "In what areas of your life are you living like a slave to anything other than Jesus?", and he encourages us to live in freedom, the gift we have received from Jesus.

We are free from sin. Let's live as those alive in Christ!
