So, here's the deal.  On the one hand, I'm still in the middle of producing Swinging Doors over on Stories from the Hiber-Nation.  On the other hand, people who have liked my GK Chesterton books, and said so on Podiobooks, have repeatedly requested I record "The Everlasting Man."  Didn't want to interrupt Mike's book, and didn't want to keep putting off Chesterton's book.  So I'm compromising.  I'm going to interject the episodes of The Everlasting Man over here on the Growls feed, and continue Swinging Doors on Hiber-Nation till that's finished.  That should dissatisfy everyone with the added advantage of exhausting me.  What could go wrong?  ;-)  The Everlasting Man by G. Took off MeerKat, added #Periscope, another live-streaming option tied to Twitter.  So that's at least 3 ways I can stream video, 4 or 5 ways I can livestream audio, a dozen different ways I can record podcasts on maybe eight different devices...  TOO MANY OPTIONS!  Or... why it took me so long to do another podcast. A little bit of news: I get to start a new podcast for one of the sims in Second Life, a community of common interests that I think the rest of the world will find interesting, too. And a friend asked me to help him start his own podcast.  Flattering and gratifying, to know someone who knows me face to face thinks this podcasting stuff is a worthwhile skill that I actually have, after eight years of practice. A first try with the new tech setup, which should allow live recording from Skype while livestreaming with Shoutcast (into Second Life) and recording.  More fiddly, and I had my levels a bit too high.  Better next time I hope. Have some dire financial issues which will impact the podcast, so I yelled for help on that. Just as an experiment, I recorded the whole show while live streaming it in Second Life.  No SL-specific content, but maybe someday soon.  Gotta figure out Skype for that yet. I explained what happened with the feed, and some of you getting a whole lot of old episodes with your usual.  Funny story... well, maybe not funny.  One of those mistakes I figured out after it'd all happened.  Sorry about that. Started playing from the stack of promos for Podiobooks.com.  The books are still there, so the promos are for existing books, just not the most recent ones.  First one was one of my own, "Flatland."
