Before I pray for you and the nation, I want to share three significant events which happened when Jesus died. We have a prayer-answering God, but do we really believe Him? Do you want to see revival? All God needs is one man or woman who can pray like Elijah, who can believe like Jesus said. Do you know what the spirit of Elijah is? To me it is the power that a man can have with God. You can’t have miracles without first having problems: twice God has healed me of cancer; He’s released me from a communist prison. Suppose I never had these problems, that God spared me the pain, I would not have the ministry I have today. God doesn’t send the sickness, but He will use it to test and refine us; ultimately all things DO work together for good. I believe in prayer and in a God of miracles. But in 2002 I was faced with a challenge: do I really believe God or not? Diagnosed with lung cancer, my only hope was Jesus. I didn't go to a healing evangelist, I went to the Word of God and He completely healed me - no operation, no treatment - I only had God and the Bible, and that's all I needed to confound the doctors. They were shocked, they didn't believe God. But I do! I believe in a God of power and of miracles. Healing, deliverance, forgiveness are yours to receive in the Name of Jesus... stop struggling and come into His arms! Talk to Jesus. He's listening. Ask Him to forgive your sin and to heal you. God desires for you to live in health: to live a full satisfying life. Sickness is from the devil. Jesus said, "The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly" (John 10:10). I want you to receive those words deep in your spirit: to be settled on the truth of God's Word. And until the day when your healing has fully manifested, know that His grace is sufficient, that He is all you need: His strength is made perfect in weakness. It is only through testings and trials that we learn who God is and what He can do; if we never had a problem, we would never know what faith in God could do. We all pray more when we are in distress; it is how we learn to trust God, to believe for miracles. God will use every difficulty to refine us, so that we become the person He can use for His Glory. The Bible says we are to be truly glad, to rejoice in our trials, because the testing of our faith, which is more precious than gold, may be found to praise, honour, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ (1 Peter 1:6-7). Lessons from 70 years of ministry: 'For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance.' Possess the promises of God! So many believers are living in spiritual lack because they don't understand the promises of God, and the power available to those who believe. Don't just take the 'spiritual' blessings - take the land: possess what you need in the material realm as well. God wants to fill you with His Fire, to send you out as witnesses to His greatness. God will take what is in your hand and use it as the demonstration of His Power. Don't be afraid of the wonders He does; don't run away or shrink back in fear. The Scripture teaches, 'Christ in you, the hope of Glory.' - That is the secret of 70 years of ministry. I have Christ in me, and I have the Holy Spirit in me. He, the same Spirit who raised up Jesus from the dead, who was in the Apostles Paul and Peter, that mighty, miracle-working power of the great God I boast about, is in me now, and He has been in me for over 70 years! Dream the dreams of the impossible, get a vision of the God of the impossible, who can do what no man can do - the God who is in control - and the God who will fulfil every promise! I want to challenge you to rise up and do something for the glory of God in the Power of the Holy Ghost and in the Name of Jesus. God doesn't save you and call you so that you can sit at ease. We are saved to serve! God didn't call me as a preacher, evangelist or pastor, He called me to serve Him, to give my life in service. What was the 'secret' to the healing ministry of Jesus? His power and authority came from spending time alone with His Father. In those times of stillness, He received fresh anointing. On one such occasion the disciples were searching for Jesus because the crowds were looking for Him. As a result, Jesus dramatically healed a man of leprosy. God's Power is without limit. The same God who will heal the sick can calm the raging storm; with Him absolutely nothing is impossible. Ephesians talks about the surpassing greatness of His Power which is available to those who believe (1:19). We live in a world of pain and trouble. Nobody escapes heartache. We all have problems in our lives. That is why God sent Jesus to live as we live; He understands and has come down to deliver. Don't let fear keep you from Jesus: He is the only one able to work the miracle. You are God's child, call out to your Father today. There are many wonderful promises in the Bible. You - can claim these promises for your own life! They were not given to just a small group of people, these promises are for you, for all of us! Your steps are ordered of the Lord. You are predestined, called, chosen, justified and glorified. God calls you His masterpiece. He has prearranged and preordained the paths you would take in your life. It is in Him we live and move and have our being. He knew you before you were formed in your mother's womb. There is one Name above all other names: I love to boast about the Name of Jesus. What a powerful Name, the Name of Jesus! The Bible says that in that Name Gentiles will trust - that is you and me! If you want a miracle, if you want the blessing of God in your life, there must come a time when you are still, when you wait upon God for the miracle to happen. Sometimes you can't change the future until you change the past: so much of your today is because of how you lived yesterday; that is why God offers forgiveness, healing and restoration. Do you want to know the secret of an overcoming victorious life? In Matthew 8 when Jesus healed the centurion's servant, the centurion spoke with Jesus about the power of faith and authority.
