There is immense power available to those who believe. The Scripture teaches that the same power which raised Christ from the dead lives on the inside of you! God answers prayer! At the mention of His Name, Jesus will come to save, heal and deliver. It is never too late: even when all around you seems dead and gone, Jesus will take you by the hand, speak tenderly to you and say, "Little girl, get up." Jesus is Son of God yet Son of Man. He came to live amongst us. He understands our frailties, that is why He stands before the Father interceding for us. Jesus doesn’t change: the Jesus we believe in, is the Jesus of the Bible. Just as He sought people out to fellowship with them, so if He were to walk into your town today, He would seek you out: He would heal your sickness and mend your broken heart. God says, 'If you believe, you can move mountains.' There are mountains in your life: broken relationships; sickness; financial problems; depression: In the Name of Jesus mountains move! All things are possible when you believe. Dream the dreams of the impossible, get a vision of the God of the impossible, who can do what no man can do. Through Christ you can do all things! If God did not heal you yesterday, it does not mean He cannot heal you; God can! My God is a God of miracles! God has power and He can heal you. When I had lung cancer in 2003, I went to the Word of God and God completely healed me - no operation, no treatment - I only had God and the Bible, and that's all I needed to confound the doctors. My God answers prayer! He is a God of Fire and Power! How do you set fire to wet wood? - You can't, but God can! By faith we believe that Jesus is the Son of God, that He died and rose again for the forgiveness of sin. By faith we believe that we are healed by the Power of His Name. The Father God was in Jesus, and Jesus in Him. From the beginning, Jesus was with God, and Jesus was God. All things were made through and by Him for His Glory. When God wanted to show His love for you, He sent His Son into the world. How did Jesus work miracles of healing? It was because He is God. What is in your heart? God doesn't look at outward appearances, He looks upon our heart. He sees our desires and secret yearnings. For with our heart we believe unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Jesus taught it this way, from the overflow of the heart a man speaks. Sometimes we hear about terrible events: accidents, sickness, financial trouble; why do these things happen? Why do we have sin? Why do we have accidents? Because man rebelled against God. But God so loved you, He sent His Son into the world to break the power of the devil and set us free. We can't always explain or understand the ways of God, but as with the man healed in John 9:25, "One thing I know: though I was blind, now I can see." Do you believe God can work a miracle in your life? All you have to do is say 'Yes' to His Will. But there is a big difference between knowing in your head and knowing in your heart. You cannot trust somebody you do not know. I want you to know in whom you have believed - and then God can work the miracle. Our God answers prayer - and He works miracles. I have seen every kind of miracle you can imagine: people born blind, God opens their eyes; broken back are mended; cancers are healed; cripples get out of wheelchairs. - I've seen miracles that are not healing: financial provision; my own miraculous release from prison, and many others besides. I know these miracles will happen when I pray; I don't have any question about it. It is no different from knowing that every morning the sun will get out of bed and show itself at my window. Rejoice, Jesus is calling for you. If I could offer one encouragement, I would tell you to rejoice, to be of good cheer. Jesus came to seek and save the lost. What does that mean? Jesus is calling you; He wants to lift you up and carry you home. He has heard your prayer and is asking, "What do you want Me to do for you?" I want you to know who Jesus really is, to experience His love and power. The amazing thing about blind Bartimaeus is that despite his blindness, he could 'see' Jesus - he recognised Him as the Son of God with power. I want to declare the Glory of Jesus. God has given Him the Name which is above every name; it is through faith in the Name of Jesus we are saved, healed and delivered. All of us experience powerful storms in our lives. In those dark moments, Jesus is there, He cares. It may feel like you are all alone, but Jesus is in the boat with you: even though you may not be able to see Him, His voice will speak peace to the wind, calming the waves buffeting you. God hears every prayer; He knows what troubles you; God is concerned about you. Jesus said the hairs on your head are numbered, so don't be afraid. God is not deaf, you don't need to shout to be heard. You can speak in the softest whisper and He will hear you. I only live for one thing; I only live to see the Glory of God. I'm not going to die, nor will I grow old and weak, because I live in the Glory of God. I live in the Power of God. I learnt many years ago not to live in my own strength, but to live in the strength and Power of God.
