Getting To Know God | Week 5 // Ryland Walter // God is sovereign. Sovereignty simply means that God is in control. He's in control of everything because He created everything. God is in control of our lives. Scripture says that God's sovereignty decided when you were going to be born, and how long you are going to live. God has also decided which natural abilities you were going to have, you didn't deserve or earn them. This week we’ll ask, “If God is in control of everything, do I even have a choice? Is there really any freedom?”
