Batgirl got a controversial cover with the Joker on it and there was a big brouhaha about that. Also there was a lot of Final Fantasy games and Borderlands being played. And Cuban and Asian cops. You had to be there.

On this week’s Pixels & Ink podcast, beloved comic fantasy novelist Terry Pratchett passes away and that’s both sad and totally not okay. Phil’s watched a problematic sci-fi robot film and a Liam Neeson slaughter-fest and neither one were too bad. Finally, Brendan went to PAX East and talks about what he saw while he was there.

On this week’s Pixels & Ink podcast, GDC is happening and so there’s been a ton of news. Both Valve and Sony have big virtual reality updates. Valve has unveiled their elaborate—and very expensive—Vive gear, and Sony’s Project Morpheus is looking good. This raises some interesting possibilities especially for the porn industry. Also, Resident Evil HD is surprisingly still good, so you should play it.

No, really. Finally, Phil has seen a satanic movie, but unfortunately, it doesn’t live up—or down—to the promise of all hell breaking loose.

On this week’s Pixels & Ink podcast, Rock Band might be getting a new sequel after all, which pretty much demands that we all mail Harmonix our money right now. The Order: 1886 is out and stirring a big controversy with both critics and gamers alike. Also, Phil has seen Babadook and recommends it as one of the most interesting and surprising horror movies of the year.

On this week’s Pixels & Ink podcast, Resident Evil sets some sales records for its HD debut on new consoles, which hopefully will make Capcom pay attention. Spider-Man finally joins up with the rest of the Marvel cinematic universe thanks to some intensive negotiations between Sony and Disney. And finally, Phil actually watched two great geek flicks about spies and vampires.

Phil has seen the new Wachowski film and it’s a definite spectacle, even if it’s not a masterpiece. Also, the new Game of Thrones episode is out courtesy of Telltale, and you really, really need to play it.

Joss Whedon has some news about his future with Marvel and the movie universe. Lastly, Grim Fandango is back, and adventure game fans should go out and buy it immediately.

Marvel is going all Crisis On Infinite Earths, with the Marvel universe. Finally, we’ve played games! Saints Row and Resident Evil are out and they’re actually not too shabby.
