Could not having a #2 WR hurt the Steelers later on?

Chris asks what is going to happen with Cam Sutton and Beanie Bishop. Can they really bench Bishop for Cam? Mark doesn’t think it won’t happen right away, but it will happen. Mark gives an update on Corey Trice. Mark says he's close to coming back, but has a lot of catching up to do. Chris calls Jet’s super fan Fireman Ed a drama queen.

Chris gives Mark credit for sticking to his guns. Chris thought Russ wouldn’t have been able to run and he has shown so far, he looks like Seattle Russ at times. Both Mark and Chris give Arthur Smith credit and a huge difference for the offense.

Chis says it's a certainty that Russell Wilson is the starter out of the bye week. Chris doesn’t understand the media members who are doubting this right now. This has been a completely different team and offense since Wilson became starter.

Bryant says he doesn’t flip flop during the season on teams due to it being a long season. Bryant took the Jets last night. Bryant didn’t know why the Jets were the favorites. Chris brings up the drop ball celebration and wants to know why they do that. Bryant says when you have a QB. Everything is different.

Pens barely beat the Ducks 2-1 The win left more questions for Chris and this team. Chris is annoyed that against a weaker team, that Pens couldn’t just handle them. Pens were still giving up quality chances. Chris doesn’t know if this team is closer to the lottery or the playoffs.

Chris is still jacked up about college football and wants to start the show talking about it again. Chris steals from Joe and brings up two questions that Joe asked Donny? Is 10 wins a good season for Pitt? Is losing tomorrow acceptable for Penn State tomorrow? Chris thinks Pitt can afford one loss. Chris calls this a huge recovery for Pat Narduzzi and Pitt when they looked dead in the water last year. Pitt finds a way to win. Chris says if Pitt beats SMU and Clemson but loses to a lesser team like Virginia, Chris will feel “Nauseous”.

Najee Harris has been on a heater the last few weeks and an underrated part of the offensive turnaround. He’s having his most efficient season in his 4-year career. How much credit does he deserve? Would you re-sign him after the season? Steelers insider Ray Fittipaldo from the PG joined the show. Ray credited Najee Harris for what he’s done this season, but he’s not sure if Harris will change the minds of the Steelers. How good is the Steelers offense? Ray doesn’t think the defenses the Steelers will see are as elite as some people may assume. Ray lauded Arthur Smith for what he has done as the offense looks better than it has in years. Ray still thinks the Steelers need to add a receiver because one injury can put things into a tailspin. Ray said this is the best Mike Tomlin coaching job since 2016. The Steelers have the second-best point differential in the AFC right now, only behind the Bills. Steve Palazzolo from the 33rd Team joined the show. Steve is impressed by what he has seen with the Steelers offense since Russell Wilson has entered the fray. He likes Russ has really raised the ceiling of the offense and including players we didn’t have high expectations for. Steve still thinks the Ravens are a better team, but could see the Steelers splitting the series with them. Steve believes this is the best team since the COVID year and maybe prior to that.
