Episode 174 - We're in the tower at Gingerman Raceway again but are now joined by Kris Miller from Powerstop Brakes and Dan O'Donnell from Professional Awesome to talk about the season.  Kris tells us about Powerstop's Mustang they build with Vaughn Gittin, Jr. and how they are awarding the grand prizes of a trip to Bondurant to the top #GRIDLIFE TrackBattle drivers.  Dan talks about their EVO, their plans for the rest of the season, and how Professional Awesome has been helping teams across the country find time and go faster.

Episode 173 - Austin and Adam are in the tower at #GRIDLIFE TrackBattle Round 5 announcing a nothing session of Time Attack. 

Episode 172 - Austin and Adam are in the tower at Gingerman Raceway for round 5 of #GRIDLIFE TrackBattle with Tom O'Dell and Kevin Wesley.  Tom returns to the show to once again to talk about his (crazy) history in racing.  Kevin makes his first appearance to talk about his previous driving endeavours.  We hear form both about what they think of Gridlife and what they have planned for next year.  

Episode 171 - Austin and Adam recorded a show together, in person, for the first time in a few months.  We talk about what's been going on - Adam has a hole in the block of the Fraser, Austin went on a huge motorcycle ride, and we ran a cool event called Speed Ring and found a tried out a new format that will change US Time Attack forever. 

Episode 170 - Austin and Matt Farah are on the mic from #Gridlife Track Battle round 4 at Road Atlanta announcing.  This was the first session we announced so many stories are told as voices and minds are fresh before turning to mush from the weekend.  We hear stories from Matt about VIR, the Civic Type R he brought to Atlanta, and we call out some blazing fast lap times as they come in during this 2nd time attack session recorded live.  Stay tuned for more live announcing from Gridlife South.  We even do our bluetooth call in from Matt during one of the final time attack session - but that's all in a future episode.  

Episode 169 - Austin is in Deal's Gap, North Carolina to sit down with long time friend, Darryl Cannon - aka Killboy.  We hear from the first person that told Austin to use the brakes like an on/off switch on a number of topics from how he got started into performance driving, how he found the Tail of the Dragon, and what makes a good fidget spinner.  Deal's Gap / The Tail of the Dragon is Austin's favorite place in the whole universe.  If you haven't been, and are planning a trip, check out www.killboy.com and www.tailofthedragon.com for the best information.  

Episode 168 - Austin is in Kansas City, MO with Devin Giles in a last minute show while riding cross country.  Devin has been a growing force in the track community since 2011.  Having gotten his start with an SR-swapped 240sx (which is what he was driving when he and Austin met), Devin quickly bought an S2000 and started modifying it into the turbo track monster it is today.  We learn about how he got his love of motorsports through his dad - whose turbo Miata Devin now owns and hear from a driver that always come to the track to lay down the best lap he can.  Check out more about Devin on his site, www.no-drift.com

Episode 167 - Austin is in Salt Lake City, UT with Cole Powelson of Lyfe Motorsport.  An all around automotive enthusiast, Cole Powelson spent a few years supporting Porsche race teams before making the jump to running his own operation, Lyfe Motorsport.  Cole has competed on a global level in the Lyfe Motorsport R35 GTR in events ranging from the PIkes Peak International Hill Climb to World Time Attack Challenge in Australia.  From daily driving his Porsche racecar in his younger years to his hidden passion for Subarus, we get to sit down with Cole and hear about how Lyfe started, what drives him to keep competeing against Pikes Peak every year, and various other things.

Episode 164 - Austin sits down with Andy and Ann Hollis late at night at Utah Motorsports Campus once the Pirelli World Challenge race is over, dinner has been served, and teams have returned to their hotels for the night.  Some listeners may know Andy from his extensive tire testing with Grassroots Motorsports Magazine.  Ann is quite the driver in her own right and together Andy and Ann have competited in numerous Tire Rack One Lap of America events and won several national autocross events.  These days, Andy is helping out Tom O'Gorman with his HPD backed Pirelli World Challenge effort and toying around with K Swapped Miatas, McLarens, and GTRs.  Listen in as we sit in the Hollis Hilton (Andy and Ann's RV) and have a casual chat about their orgins in the sport.  We also learn about how many different autocross events you can attend in a single day.  What do you think the answer is?

Episode 163 - Austin sits down wtih Tom O'Dell on the Bonneville Salt Flats during the 2017 Speed Week festivities.  Tom is a seasoned veteran of motosport having worked on teams that have won the 24 Hour of Daytona, 12 Hour of Sebring, the NASCAR Cup Championship, Pikes Peak and numerous other world class events.  Working with Fiat Chrysler since the mid 90's (and previous to that Porsche and other factory teams), he has no shortage of stories.  We often talk about people behind the scenes making things work and Tom has been doing just that for most of his career.  Austin was able to get him to agree to sit down and chat in this rare interview with this incredibly busy guy.  

Episode 162 - We realized we hadn't done a show with only each other in a while, so here one is.  We catch up on what's going on with Adam's car situation, outline Austin's 10k mile motorcycle trip and have some laughs along the way.  Inside Out Car is born, Abrin and Andy fix Abrin's EVO X, Austin makes some jokes probably...

Episode 160 - This show is a mash up between Austin and Adam announcing at #GRIDLIFE Track Battle Round 3 at Autobahn Country Club and driving a Spec Fit while at Honda Meet at Gingerman.  Yes, that's right, holding a mic in one hand and steering with the other.  Do we survive?  Does Adam miss a shift?  How hard can it be?  

Episode 159 - We're in the RadV at Honda Meet with Time Attack Driver Will Au-Yeung, driver of one of the fastest time attack cars in the world.  Minutes before this was recorded, Will broke the production car door slammer lap record at Gingerman Raceway with a 1:27.534, besting James Houghton by .3 seconds.  We talk about Will's upcoming campaign at World Time Attack Challenge in Sydney, Australia, what made him choose a 9th gen Civic to build into a Time Attack car, and we get into a little bit of industry talk with a man whose life is completely consumed by our world.  

Episode 158 - Pirelli World Challenge driver Anthony Magagnoli stops by the beach in a last minute meet up with Austin.  They talk about Anthony's first season in PWC driving a BMW M235iR for Rooster Hall Racing, how to quickly learn a new track, pre-running tracks before proessional races, and getting your competition license through one of the programs with the lowest barriers to entry and the most acceptance among all organizations - BMW Club School.

Episode 157 - For this show, we're at Autobahn Country Club for Gridlife Track Battle Round 3.  It's late at night, we have taquitos, have had a few drinks, and are joined by Mental Ward and Brenden Lehman.  Two different extremes of track experience between our two guests, one great show.  

Episode 156 - From the Grand Prix Campground at Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca, Austin sits down with HFF (Honda Front Wheel Drive) Challenge Series founder Jared Reyes and recent driver addition to the challenge - 14 year DSPORT Magazine Employee, Jeren Walker.  Jared is a long time track guy, while Jeren just jumped in head first this year.  We talk about HFF Challenge, try to talk Jeren about of turbocharging his car, and all around tell it like it is when it comes to driving on track.  Find out more about HFF Challenge at hffchallenge.com
