Chris Williams, AKA the brilliant comic who brought the world Krayzee Eyez KIllah, swings by the House of Riff for an instant classic to round out the finale of Blackuary Blackriffin. We talk “coonery”, black history, time travel, the black male paranoia about chicken in public, and Chris shares an exclusive inside look at working with Larry David on Curb Your Enthusiasm and how Krayzee Eyes Killah came to be.

We made it, baby! Episode 50 is in the bag and it’s a Blackuary Blackriffin’ all up in your face. And ears. We talk about gay marriage, Pinterest, censorship, the loss of privacy, sites like IsAnyoneUp.com, the children of the future, Teddy building his empire, and… SO much more.

Conor McGuire comes bearing gifts in the House of Riff with Labyrinth Black Ale – it looks like an oil slick, smells like soy sauce, and tastes like sludge but damn does it get a buzz on. This contributes heavily to a wild night of riffin’ about Ice Cubes legendary “Good Day”, a lengthy discussion about hallucinogens, racism, Italian Transformers and so much more. Never a dull moment, this is one for the books.

Brandon Ficara swings through for an epic, depraved riff session that aims to redefine the term “Hate-F***”, his acting and comedy work, a dissertation on TV show theme songs, hopes for Eddie Murphy, vitriol on Dane Cook, and Teddy once again reminds everyone how not-black Mitcz is.

Alejandro Ansoleaga – by far the most fun name to say of all guests we’ve had on the show – finally gets his riff on with us. Last time, we had some audio issues, but this time it was pristine and wonderful. We explore Alejandro’s misadventures as an over-reacting superhero, Teddy’s paranoia, Mitcz’s love of sex, and so much more.

Miguel Rojas brings the riff hard, loud, and raw. He talks about his upbringing and neighborhood and how he went against the grain. The riff continues on with some fun discussions about zombies, the apocalypse, horror movies and their hidden socio-political agendas, the lack of comedy groupies in our lives and oh so much more. This riff is packed to the gills with awesome.

Our original guest for this episode was a no-show, but Mitcz & Teddy don’t let a thing like that stop the riff. In this episode we discuss 2012, Sinead O’ Connor, the Kardashian Unit of Measurement, the magic of Prince, R Kelly, playing with live pigs via iPad, and how improper Neti Pot usage can result in brain-eating amoeba taking your life. It’s been a helluva year for us here at Straight Riffin’ and we look back on 41 jam-packed episodes of the Rifftacular 2011 season longingly. Joined by our long-time friend, fellow comedian, and #1 Superfan Jose Chavez, this is a joyous episode and a chance to hear about some of our favorite memories of the show so far. Cruz Kim brings the Korean funk to our fine establishment as we riff on about 80s cartoons, the passing of the great Patrice O’Neal, racism, homophobia, and so much more. It’s a fast-paced nonstop thrillride of giggles and awesomeness. Just the way you like it.

Much ado about fisting in this one. Steven Briggs sits down to riff with us and it comes at you hard, fast, lewd, and rough. We talk twitter, sex, bondage, the comedy industry, and Steven’s fascinating roots – including an amazing tale about how he was secretly shipped off to Military School. Quite an episode here, folks.

Comedian Tania Estrada swings on through the House of Riff to wax ecstatic about videogames, arcades, her musical history, and more. We discuss her past, her present and her future. We also compare and contrast a number of early-mid 90s female-fronted bands, how insane Courtney Love has become, and some serious geekery about videogames in the 80s.

Double riffin’ week continues with the one and only Danielle Stewart. This riff comes at you hard and fast, filled with revelations of perversion, drinking, having an edge, and so much more. It’s quite an eye-opening episode, and one for the ages.

Comedian Guy Groves bring the riffin and he brings it well. We discuss booty, porn, lingerie, marriage, kids, penn state, and a whole lot more. An informative and warming riff it is, indeed.

Indie comedy writer/director Sam Sero stops by Riffin Headquarters to wax comedic and political with us. Topics include “is tranny offensive?”, Sopranos, Saturday Night Live, Obama, Republicans, the ridiculousness of Herman Cain, and so much more.

Lance Paullin brought the riff and the madness to our humble studio. There was much geekery to be had in the early part of the show, then we move on to a new reality show about dating comedians and we all take turns doing mock auditions. We discuss a woman who aged 50 years in a matter of days, why Mitcz could never get married, the ins and outs of being personal onstage, Scarlett Johansson’s Tom Waits cover album, and a whole lot more.
