For All You Kids Out There

Jeffrey and Jarrett have a brief chat after BP Philly Day about marriage proposals, Jeff McNeil, Jacob deGrom, and ECW nostalgia.

In Episode 121 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey is back from Tennessee, somehow got six games in six days, and has thoughts on Shervyen Newton and stuff. Jarrett has thoughts on Jeff McNeil and his place on the 20-80 scale. We both are confused by the Mets 25-man roster moves and their insistence on a six-man rotation, but are pleased by the return of David Wright to baseball activities, sort of. In the second half of the show, we do the thirty-minute version of our ten-minute SaberSeminar presentation. And in the third half of the show we talk about the G1 Climax.

In Episode 120 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett discuss the Asdrubal Cabrera for Franklyn Kilome deal and what else the Mets might do at the deadline (Spoiler alert: Nothing). Then we are joined by Craig Goldstein to recap the the July 31st deals writ large, and to confound Jeffrey with a simple question: Who is in the Angels starting rotation? Finally we wrap things up with your emails and a fairly hefty pro wrestling segment. 

In Episode 119 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett break down the process and outcome of the Jeurys Familia deal, moan about the Mets handling of injuries (again), and worry about Cespedes' heel woes (not a wrestling segment although there is a wrestling segment later). This is one of our shorter podcasts but may feature the longest "The Metsssss" on record.

In episode 118 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett discussing the brewing storm between the Mets brass and Brodie Van Waganen w/r/t Jacob deGrom's future. Then we chat about the Manny Machado trade which may have already happened by the time you are listening, and try and figure out if the Mets can deal Zack Wheeler. Then we answer questions about Complex-League baseball and the Mets 2020 roster.

Jeffrey Paternostro and Craig Goldstein discuss the BP Midseason Top 50, including the big risers, how we deal with pitching prospects, and potentially controversial rankings.

In Episode 117 of For All You Kids Out There, the only news worth talking about is a Wade LeBlanc contract extension so talk about it we shall with David Roth of Deadspin. We do also chat about Jenrry Mejia's return from suspension, famous Hampshire College graduates, and David's encounters with semi-famous Law & Order recurring characters in airports. You know the usual. We are not done with Wade LeBlanc chat, oh no. In the second half of the show we bring on Meg Rowley to delve further into all things Wade, consider the current state of the Mariners, and apparently help Meg make her SaberSeminar travel plans. Then in the third half of the show we answer you correspondence and talk about all the recent pro wrestling and MMA news. As we do.

In Episode 116 of For All You Kids Out There, the calendar turns to July, the Mets are irrelevant and unwatchable, so we try to figure out a way forward. It's harder than you think and not just because we are still easily distracted. Then we answer your correspondence and discuss upcoming wrestling shows and a very good World Cup.

In Epsiode 115 of For All You Kids Out There, we look back at Sandy Alderson's tenure with the Mets, and the because it's us, spend a half hour talking about Mike Trout.

In Episode 114 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey really wanted to just talk about Mets short-season rosters in the first half of the show, and we do get there eventually, but Jarrett had, uh, other plans. In the second half of the show Allison McCague of Amazin' Avenue joins the show to talk about another crappy week of Mets baseball. And in the third half of the show, we answer your questions about player development.

In Episode 113 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett are once again joined by David Roth of Deadspin to talk about the usual David Roth stuff, which actually has very little Mets content, but the Mets content is hella depressing at least. There is happier Wade LeBlanc chat at least. Then we answer a bunch of your correspondence and accidentally end up previewing the G1 Climax.

In Episode 112 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey is bored with this team, Jarrett is annoyed, and boy has a lot of obnoxious stuff happened this week. We cover it in the first half of the show. In the second half of the show, it's a return engagement for Alex Rosen as we discuss the 2018 Mets draft class. And in the third half of the show we answer a lot of correspondence and talk about the new IWGP Heavyweight Champion.

In Episode 111 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett don't even talk about Citi Field getting set on fire because that is too on the nose even for us. We do recap the last, horrible week in Mets baseball which included a suspiciously large amount of transactions. In the second half of the show, BP Mets' Alex Rosen joins us to recap the 2013 Mets draft class and look ahead to Monday's first-year player draft. In the third half of the show, we answer your correspondence, Jarrett takes a victory lap on Brandon Nimmo, and we end up talking about...basketball? 

In Episode 110 of For All You Kids Out There, the Mets ship may be sinking, but we can offer you the cold familiar comfort of getting distracted while talking about Mets news to instead comb through the Mets 2016 draft class and the litany of 2018 Las Vegas starters. We do talk about new Met (and former All-Star dontcha know) Jose Bautista of course. In the second half of the show we are joined by Meg Rowley to talk about the surging Mariners and spoil Solo. In the third half of the show we answer a whole lot of questions about Mickey Callaway's managing and wrap up with the usual pro wrestling nonsense.

In Episode 109 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett chat about the #onpace for 89-win Mets. What a very circuitous trip it has been. Jarrett is still annoyed at Jose Reyes being on the roster, Jeffrey just wants to talk about the backend of the rotation, and we aren't even neatly organizing the show into halves well anymore.

In Episode 108 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett are again around Jarrett's dining room table (with a very loud air conditioner in the background) to discuss the week in Mets baseball, a postscript to This Week in Matt Harvey, and the endless leg injuries of Yoenis Cespedes. Then in the second half of the show we chat about the prospects we have seen over the last week before wrapping up with your correspondence and the declaration that the podcast is All In. 

In Episode 107 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett chat about Jacob deGrom's hyperextended elbow and Michael Conforto's lost playing time before bringing on David Roth for the series finale of This Week in Matt Harvey, which to be fair is mostly Jeffrey explaining the finale of Star Trek: The Next Generation. We also answer your e-mails and try to figure out who is taking the title of Kazuchika Okada. 

In Episode 106 of For All You Kids Out There, Jeffrey and Jarrett discuss the week in Jason Vargas, Matt Harvey and first base, before the triumphant(?) return of the Panic City Index. At least that's what we think it used to be called. In the second half of the show we discuss Binghamton...sigh...Rumble Ponies prospects with BP Mets Alex Rosen, and wrap up the show with Ronald Acuña chat, the return of the Sports Pope, and the Greatest Royal Rumble.

In Episode 105 of For All You Kids Out There (we eventually figure out what the episode number is), Jeffrey and Jarrett are no longer cautiously optimistic. Matt Harvey is headed to the bullpen to theoretically bolster a suddenly sputtering relief corps, but is this how it all ends in Gotham? We also try to figure out how to get Brandon Nimmo more playing time before moving into some prospect topics in the second half of the show. In the third half of the show, we plug a lot of stuff, answer a lot of questions, and marvel at the  2018 British Virgin Islands Marlins baseball-reference page.

In Episode 104 of For All You Kids Out There, we really should have someone up from Vegas to podcast because Jarrett has double bronchitis, but even though it is literally a 10-day-DL, we muddle through. In an abbreviated show, we chat about the Mets suddenly dire catching situation, the future rotation questions, and how to get Brandon Nimmo in the lineup. In the second half of the show, we discuss our looks at Vladito and how to grade fastballs in 2018, and in the third half of the show we answer your correspondence and Jarrett has some legal advice for the Miami Marlins that should not be construed as actual legal advice.
