Tom is joined by Dereck Collins of 3 Fat Nerds, and actor, director, writer Loren Molloy to talk about how music, lighting, and pacing create an atmosphere in movies and fiction.

We remember the legacy of Neil Peart. With special guest, national percussionist Kevin Dean (Heart, Josh Grobin, Brand New Sin). Plus Tom and Walt get bloody with BBC’s Dracula and play catch up on some other TV shows and movies.

Volume 5 Chapter 30 is a feast! We return to ScareACon for the Fan Favorites panel, as Tom joins Aaron Sturdivant from Sir Sturdy Podcast talking about their favorite horror films! Then horror author Sean McDonough joins Scott, Tom, Walt and Skip for a derailing Thanksgiving laden top 10 list.

Volume 5, Chapter 29 of the Necrocasticon goes back to ScareACon 2019 for “1981, The Year That Changed Horror” panel. Our Token Tom joins Derek Collins from Three Fat Nerds to discuss some of the seminal horror and cult movies to arrive in 1981.  But that’s not all.  Walt, Scott and Skip welcome our guest, metalhead and horror author Larissa Glasser, to join us and give her top 10 extreme moments in heavy metal!

Volume 5 Chapter 28 has a Veteran’s Day treat for you in the form of the Alice Cooper panel from Spooky Empire, courtesy of Steve Mesa. Tom reviews Doctor Sleep and tells you why you should see it now. Dan reviews the Watchmen, we dig into the cool second season of Castle Rock, Scott has a lamenting metal experience and Walt made it back from Florida. All this and Skip smokes cigars.

Volume 5 Chapter 27 of the Necrocasticon is back on the road to Scare A Con New York, as we present to you the CULT CLASSICS Horror panel with our very own Tom moderating 80s actors Jason Lively & Jonathan Tiersten! But that's not all. Tom also saw Terminator: Dark Fate. Does it deserve the hate it's getting? We'll find out. Mr. Scott has seen all of Creepshow and tells you if it's worth the Shudder subscription, and finally, we look at the Netflix shocker, Eli.
