This podcast is recorded weekly at Altered Egos Comics & Games in Orange Park, Florida. We discuss comics that made it to the shop for that week's New Comic Book Day and look ahead to the next New Comic Book Day. We also take the time to comment on at least one item or topic in an extended format, and our panel ends the show with a few personal recommendations for listeners.

He looks at the first week of comics delivered New Comic Book Day 12/02/2015, and then ahead to 12/09/2015. In post-Thankskgiving/pre-Christmas Holiday Haze, the crew take a moment to refelct on the things that they are thankful for. As always, the show rounds out with the gang's personal recommendations for the week, which Jonathan suprisingly remembers the others recommedations so the listeners didn't miss out.

    We bound into November talking about New Comic Book 11/04/2015 for a good long time, because there were a whole bunch of new series. And more coming 11/11/2015. Since the the episode is front loaded with so much new issue coverage, the Ramble On is pretty short. Carey starts us off with the recent Cullen Bunn Reddit Ask Me Anything (AMA) and nonsense around Aquaman, fans, fandom, and fanaticism. The show closes with the week's recommendations.

    A new episode of the Altered Egos Comics Podcast, now with less coughing. 'Tis the night before Halloween, which means it is the night before Halloween ComicFest. The gang prepped the store for the second and less well known free comic book event and settled in to cover New Comic Book Day for 10/28/2015 and a look ahead to 11/04/2015. Not having a topic for the Ramble On doesn't scare this crew, no sirree. Inspired by the night, the crew stumble through treats for trick-r-treating, comic conventions generally, the North Florida Comic Con particularly, and the retail experience with it all. Finally, they bring on their personal recommendations for the week.

Carey, Bree, Kevin, and Sick Boy join in, and before giving their recommendations for the week, they all ramble on the loss of letters pages in comics, Fox News and Captain America, and the passing of legendary Sliver Age artist Murphy Anderson.

    And here we are at last, the final quarter of 2015, and the beginning of October. Despite the delays of Secret Wars, Marvel's All New All Different line launched on time. And He Who Counts Comics, They That Buy Comics, and the Whiskered One review all of those and every other new series title that made it into the store for New Comic Book Day 10/07/2015 and look ahead to 10/14/2015. The Ramble On is shorter than the intro this week, but still manages to cover two listener questions. One from Super Fan and Lord of Texas, Zack, about the Boom! Innovator Program, and one from the Vice President of the Carey Bourne International Fan Club, Regina Hüssendôrf, about books that are both disliked and "can't miss".

    Episode 54 brings Jonathan and Carey back to the mic, joined by Super Couple and store customers, Briannon and Kevin. They talk about the few titles that made it in for the last week of September and then look forward to the first New Comic Book Day of October with more than a little trepitatious excitement. The Ramble On starts ramblin' on early, escaping the boundaries of its own section to be peppered throughout the show. The group theorizes, postulates, and just flat out opines about, among other things, Marvel's All New All Different that starts in October, comics we'd like to have with us if we were isolated, DC's single versus collected edition habits, trades versus deluxe collected editions, fan-service writing, and other random topics.

    Season Two of the Altered Egos Podcast kicks off with a return to greatness! Carey and Jonathan are joined by Fred (Just Fred) and William. The Fearsome Foursome speak for some time about the few new titles that came out New Comic Book Day 09/23/2015. They look ahead to the 5th New Comic Book Day in September, 09/30/2015, before getting the Ramble On rambling on. Since this is the first episode of the second year, William leads a look back on the growth of the podcast over the last year, and Jonathan highlights which pieces of the last year's podcast to look to be repeated. The team also takes on another questions from Zack in Laredo (Thanks, Zack!), starting with which highly regarded comic figures just aren't our cup of tea.

This time out it is Super Couple, Comic Counter, and their faithful manservant Jonathan around the audiophonic recording apparatus conversating about sequential art pamphlets that arrived in the shoppe on 09/09/2015. They then phantagasmorically gave into the far horizons of 09/16/2015 and describe the wonder that will be those illustrated tales of daring due to appear then. Taking up William's mailed in question from last week, the Ramble On starts of going around the table talking about what our most memorable surprise in a comic has been. The Ramble On also takes on the house ad inserted into most Marvel titles this week, comparing that to DC Comic's wonderful Twix house ad, the angst and emotion caused to the artist and the reader, and actions taken.

The Ramble On covers another email from Michael Orgeman (remember him from Ep.16 and 17?), this time Michael asks what the podcast would recommend from the "All New, All Different Marvel". The crew dives into the list of titles and give their opinions on each before giving their recommendations for the week.
