Take 4 Podcast

This week Damian takes a vacation and the cast decides...to smoke up and talk about weed movies. Well, about 3 movies. The rest is a discussion about weed itself. It's pretty educational actually. I'd say it's the most educational episode of the podcast yet!

With the Olympics coming to a close we decided what better time than now to look at movies that feature sports. Because really lets be honest, sports movies are better than sports. You know where you can find a dog playing baseball? Sports movies. You know where you can't find that? Sports. The defense rests.

Bad Moms and Sausage Party are on the way, so we're talking R Rated comedies. Everything from Judd Apatow & Seth Rogen, to Amy Schumer & Paul Feig. It's a discussion of the best of the worst brand of humour out there.

Hey there Take 4 fans. Comic con released a whole bunch of trailers and updates for films coming out a year from now, so we thought it'd be a good idea to talk about them.P.S Sorry for the inconsistent posting recently. Take 4 is gonna get back on track I promise!

It's been a little over a year since the very first Take 4 podcast. Naturally, we thought it best to talk about the best and worst movie sequels, as we embark in phase two of our little production here. Thank you all for listening. It's been fun.

Listeners I'm feeling fighty because this episode is all about the movies that are all about the kicks, the punches, the mayhem, the fights. We talk about Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Bruce Lee, Tony Jaa, John Woo and even some western stuff. Like the Matrix. Which is pretty much a movie that takes from all those guys. Anyway, it was a fun show.

In a late father's day episode, the cast discusses the best and worst of dads in movies and television. Have a listen.

Do you believe in aliens? I don't know if they exist but they sure do make for good movies. So we decided with Independence Day 2 coming up, we'd look at the topic for a discussion. Joining us on the cast is actual alien Romaine Campbell, who may or may not be here to kill us all.

This week we discuss the magic as seen in popular movies and television like Eragon, Game of Thrones, Naruto and of course, Harry Potter. We also talk about how magic can be a little stupid sometimes but it's still fun. 

This episode is a fun one as we look at the famous twist endings. Those that make us go "Whaaaaat". We look at the ones that make sense, and the ones that really don't.

This week Take 4 gets mighty confusing as we try and explain (and understand) the timey wimey mumbo jumbo rules of time travel, all while discussing the science in different mediums. This is the end. Hold your breath and count to ten. Or more than that, I mean, you can probably beat ten seconds. While you're at it though, you should listen to this new episode of Take 4 where we talked about THE END OF THE WORLD in popular movies and television.

Take 4 returns just in time for the comic book movie- I mean summer -season. The next up on the lineup is X-Men Apocalypse so naturally we're talking about the X-Men franchise, what we like about it, what we don't like about it, and what they should do in the future.

This week on the Take 4 Podcast we decided to tackle the biggest production company, the place where magic comes from and the home of Mickey Mouse, DISNEY. We talked the animated classics, modern films, live action, villains, princesses, songs, and of course, we play Marry, F***, Kill with the Disney princesses. Hey, we're still a bunch of juveniles, even when talking about kid stuff. ESPECIALLY WHEN TALKING ABOUT KID STUFF.This is gonna be the last one for about 3 weeks because we've got exams to do. This was a favourite of the Take 4 crew. We talked about our favourite appearances of animals in movies! Everyone on the cast is a big animal lover (Except Britni, because she's dead inside). We talk Babe Pig in The City, movies where animals died, and movies were animals actually were killed on the set. FUN TIMES 

This week we talk about heroes with shades of grey to their morality. Something that we see quite a bit these days. Also Damian and Nic fight and the podcast gets.... a little tense. 

With Batman V Superman coming out, we thought we'd look at some other movies where characters went head to head. Yes this episode is about movies where all the BS is stripped away and everyone buckles down for one big spectacular showdown. 

It's another episode of the Take 4 Podcast and with Batman v Superman just one week away, we're talking about Superman. We discuss the character, his movies, and what we like or dislike. Basically last weeks episode, except with Superman instead of Batman. 

In honour of Batman v. Superman in a few weeks, we take a look at one of the very first serious cinematic superheroes (try saying that five times fast) and come to the conclusion that, sometimes he's not as serious as people think he is.

It's Oscar Day and to celebrate we're gonna talk about the movies that the Oscars don't want to talk about! Take a listen as Take 4 has it's most sincere discussion yet as we dive into what makes a movie a black movie and why it's so important that they get made.
