Jesus willingly faced agony for the sake of the apathetic.

Christian contentment delights in the providence of God, is learned, and embraces suffering.

Jesus is the fulfillment of all God’s promises in the Passover and he institutes the Lord’s Supper to help us remember that he is our past, present, and future hope.

Jesus was not some moral teacher that lost control and died an unintended death. The cross was planned from the beginning. In this sermon, we will see that the preparation, the Passover, and the betrayal all go according to plan.

Jesus is of infinite worth. Those who see it will joyfully and sacrificially love him. They will love him to death.

We stress the importance of the local church because the local church makes the Gospel visible.

Only the Father knows when Jesus will return, so we must be ready.

Jesus' past, present, and future glory gives us a present peace of mind

Enduring hope is found in God's sovereign goodness.

We all have an important life changing message to share

To enter the kingdom of God, we must accept God's definition of love.

We study doctrine to know God, to follow the precedent of the New Testament, and to ensure a healthy church.

Error #1: the afterlife is simply a continuation of this earthly life. Error #2: Denial of the power of God to raise the dead. Error #3: Ignorance of Scripture and the one to whom it all points. The resurrection is real and it is found only by knowing the power of God through his Word.

God has placed authority structures in our lives and in obedience to God, we are to give them what they are owed.

At its core, the Parable of the Tenants in Mark 12:1-12 is a story about THE STORY. The actions and coming judgment of these wicked leaders are a part of God’s unfolding story of redemption through the sacrifice of his Son.

Jesus has all authority from heaven. He can do what he wants. And as our king he should rule over our lives.
