As a goofy footer, it’s natural that Rick Leiti gravitated towards Peru. Any surfer who has read a few travel articles in search of point breaks has come across “The Land of the Lefts.”  Rick has already led an extraordinary life moving across the world more than once in search of a place to hang his hat with a good wave a short drive away. In that pursuit he has also found another passion he has made his career: viticulture. Rick is attempting to be a well rounded wine connoisseur, and what better profession with the vineyards that thrive a short distance from the coast? Rick’s story is both intriguing to any surfer as well a drastically original. He’s worked the corporate game and left it behind without any remorse. Now he’s more gratified than ever on his journey in life and surfing every good swell than rolls his way.
