02/05/2012 Duração: 05minCiara McGearey from Edinburgh, is training for a remarkable challenge this weekend, when she will walk ‘A Mile for Daddy’ to raise funds for Poppyscotland. Ciara is blind and severely disabled and two years ago Poppyscotland helped Ciara's dad Mac, who is in the Army, with his 500-mile fundraising walk to secure a place for Ciara in the Royal Blind School. ‘A Mile for Daddy’ is Ciara’s own idea and she wants to raise money to “help other Daddies”. With mum Rosie’s support, Ciara has been training hard for the walk, which will take around 2 hours to complete. To sponsor Ciara go to www.justgiving.com/Ciara-McGearey
