There is no doubt that the idea of the "Trinity" is one of the hardest things to understand about God. but it is inescapable when you read what the Bible say. The trinity is an idea that should humble us, encourage us and motivate us to be faithful in our relationship with God

Depression is a growing issue on our society ... and even those with faith in Jesus can suffer from it. It would seem the writer of this Psalm was suffering from depression ... and we can learn from his experience and suggestions.

Many people carry guilt in their life … but have no idea where to go for forgiveness. Forgiveness comes from the God who rules this world.

Being a Christian you can feel like you are part of a small minority group … and it can seem our society is increasingly critical of the Christian faith. The writer of the Psalm asks to dwell in God's Temple. But God goes one step further: God dwells with us.

David talks in this Psalm about life as it really is … the times in the green grass and the times when we have to walk through the valley of the shadow of death.

Here is a Psalm that seems to raise more questions than answer. Questions about David's view of his own righteousness and the issue of violence ... but a Psalm that reminds us what is at the heart of our relationship with God.

Having denied Jesus 3 times, Peter may have been wondering if Jesus could still use him.

Jesus is leaving, but promises that the Holy Spirit will come and be with them.
