Philippians 4:2-9Conflict is a part of life, not even Jesus could avoid it. Often, in our attempts to avoid conflict, we miss the will of God.

"Join together in following my example..keep your eyes on those who live as we do." ~Philippians 3:17Choose your influence...You cannot always choose who leads you, but you can choose who you follow.

Philippians 2:1-18Jesus was the supreme example. He stooped to the lowest place possible and God set Him high on the highest place possible. Jesus valued you enough to set aside all of His rights and privileges as God in order to restore His relationship with you.

Philippians 1:27-30Those who live by whatever happens, become victims of whatever happens. Let the gospel and your testimony of it become the guide for how you behave.

Upon returning from Kenya, the Mission Team gave an overview of the 9 days they spent in Rongo.

Ephesians 5:6 says, "Let no one deceive you." It implies that deception is a choice. We allow ourselves to get deceived when we refuse to see what we need to see. In this passage, the Apostle Paul pulls no punches. Its time to get serious about the things that are killing us.

When Jesus defeated the devil, He gained some great "spoils" from the battle. Ephesians 4 tells us that Jesus shares those gifts with His church. These gifts are: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers. Here in New River, it is our desire to see these five gifts in operation in and through our ministry. In this teaching, Pastor Doug unveils the vision God has given him for putting these five gifts into practice in our region.

In the Bible, power is not a theory to observe. It literally is the reality of a normal Christian life. Powerless Christianity is dead religion. May we have the faith to believe what God says in His Word is true. If so, its life changing! This teaching is taken from Paul's "power prayer" in Ephesians 3:14-21.

In the church, where there is unity, there is Jesus. This message is a passionate appeal for the Church of Jesus to come together. God's intentional design for the Church is that though we are different, in Christ we are one. We are God's showcase to the world that a diverse group can experience unity.

We need wisdom AND revelation to grow in our relationship with Jesus. Those who have wisdom alone CAn explain spiritual things but haven't experienced them. Those with revelation alone have great experiences but are shallow. We need BOTH to walk in the power of God.

Our greatest need is not to be loved as many presume, but to be liked. The Apostle Paul begins his letter to the Ephesians by reminding them that not only does God love them, but He has ALWAYS loved them! We are included in this blessing. You will be deeply encouraged by this message.

The final teaching from our series in the Book of Galatians. This message deals with what really counts in life. The best thing we have going is something that we're not even doing! We can rest in the fact that God is up to something truly good in our lives. Religion does not produce rest, but a relationship with Jesus does! God bless you friend.

It takes time get a good harvest. Sometimes we want to give up because the wait is so long. Yet Scripture encourages us that if we do not give up, there will be a harvest in due time. Hang in there friend! Its good! This week Dave takes us through Galatians 6:1-10 and encourages us to keep planting those good seeds. The harvest is coming!

The root of your life is revealed by the fruit of your life. Religion tells you to do more, try harder, work smarter. The fruit? Weary, tired souls that remain broken. Allowing the Holy Spirit to change you from within produces fruit like love, joy and peace. This message begins with a testimony from Nick Ruitto about the freedom he has found from a porn addiction. He becomes 'exhibit A' of what happens when the Holy Spirit is given free reign in our lives.

If there are no rules, then how does a free person behave? This question is answered in our next teaching from Galatians 5.

Dear Christian, do you know Who lives inside of you? The Apostle Paul's prayer for the Galatians was that Christ be formed in them. This is the primary difference between religion and Jesus. Religon only has power to make you good. Jesus can make you godly.
