Because of the trials that bring a person to a place where they must choose to forgive a person(s) that have grieved them, forgiveness is one of he hardest things to do. We'll look the at the trials Joseph faced through rejections, false accusations, and ultimately feeling forgotten.

This message focuses on the progression of Peter, as a follower of Christ. We look at places, over the course of 3 short years, that Peter had to make choices: 1. Fish or Follow? 2. Influenced or Influencing? 3. Fearful or Faithful? 4. Passive or Powerful?

Mary had to have asked herself, on a regular basis, "Why me God?" Come take a look at how she was chosen and through it all she remained faithful to God's plan, in spite of a lot of hardships. We'll discuss some specific qualities that made her the right choice to carry the baby boy that would one day rule the nations.

Cain asks, "How did I end up roaming the earth cursed by God?" Cain is the perfect example of someone who has a victim mentality - all of his problems are someone else's fault. But God reveals the truth - right actions will lead to right feelings.

Winning on the track takes tremendous discipline and focus. Slight impulses can lead to terrible crashes. Consistency and focus can lead to victory. This message will warn men to not wreck their lives for temporary wins and instead keeping the eyes on the prize of victory!

If a driver is going to win a race, he needs to occasionally take a pit stop. This stop is for making adjustments, tuning up and getting tires and refueling. Likewise, a man has to take time outs to get refueled and tune-up. This can happen through accountability groups, personal fueling, down time (rest/sabbatical), and even counseling from time-to-time.

The opening message to this series will focus on self-leadership, the most difficult type of leadership. We'll compare our daily self-leadership to that of a race car driver; we need to have incredible discipline and be in good physical and mental condition if we are going to win.

Our family might not be perfect, but it's a gift to have an intact family. Same is true at church...we are far from perfect, but what if everyone viewed membership as a special gift to be treasured instead of a right to be demanded? God has given us the gift of salvation, eternal life, AND the local church. Let's live in gratitude for the gift of the church!

In this message, we'll discuss how the entire family is to be engaged in loving the church and discuss way to practically engage everyone.

In a physical family, the parents bring leadership, direction and vision to the family. We are commanded in scripture to honor them and take care of them. In a spiritual family we are actually commanded to pray for our leaders. In this message we will talk about how we need to pray for each other in this family, but don't forget to pray for the leaders, their families, their spiritual/physical/emotional protection.

While it's true that children can be pretty demanding and selfish, it is impossible for a family to function with everyone having their own wants, needs and desires being catered to. Same is true in a spiritual family. We can not let our church be about my preferences and desires. Instead, it has to be about what is best for the body AND what is best for reaching those who are outside the family (in order to bring them into the family)! In our spiritual family we need to serve each other instead of demanding to get our own way!

In a family, everyone is together...whether they like it or not! In a church family, we need to stay unified; unity is the hallmark of a healthy church. In this message we will discuss how to maintain unity in such a diverse family.

This series, starting on Mother's Day, will discuss a healthy church family. There are good comparisons between our physical families and our spiritual families. In this first installment, we discuss family responsibilities. A healthy church family is a church where everyone strives to find their place of responsibility and fulfills it.

The conclusions being drawn regarding Christianity, around the whole world, are not because thought/reason/research support the conclusion but rather because of an intellectual laziness. The essence of the Gospel is not just in facts but in changed lives.

In this talk we will explore what many use to object to Christianity; that science disproves the Bible. Many focus on the creation account to demonstrate how the entire Bible doesn't make sense, but the facts are that science and faith answer different questions. Science answers the how question, the Bible answers the why question. This message will attempt to harmonize science and the Bible rather than false opposition that critics try to make it out to be. The Bible isn’t and doesn’t pretend to be a science text book.

We'll be looking at the claims of Jesus and figuring out if He really is the Son of God or just a guy who loves man-kind.

Many people falsely assume that all religions are basically the same. Since they are all the same, it doesn't really matter what you believe. Only problem with this argument is, there are REAL fundamental differences between the different gods/religions of the world.

Many argue that the Bible can’t be trusted. We will dispel some of the myths around how the Bible was put together and discover the truth that the Bible is a remarkably accurate and well preserved historical document.
