Celebration of Holy Week, from Palm Sunday through Good Friday. We will learn of Jesus' days leading up to Easter and celebrate communion.

Marriage is not a contract, but a covenant. A contract is an agreement that is reached and defines what to do if someone violates the contract. A covenant is a binding, permanent agreement. This message will encourage us to understand that our marriages can be better as we gain understanding of the "reaping what you sow" concept.

During this message we'll talk about the importance of protecting the marriage.

During this message, we'll look at the serious business of having fun. A marriage that isn't fun, is a marriage that won't last.

There is a myth that a happy marriage is one where there is never any conflict, no arguing or fighting. But the truth is, every marriage has conflict; a happy marriage is where couples learn to resolve conflict instead of winning arguments.

When we marry we commit to many things by saying "I do." This isn't wishy washy, it's a firm commitment to pursue certain things. In this message we'll talk about the commitment to pursue God together.

Words have lasting impact, so we need to be careful how we choose to use them. Our words can bring hope to someone who is struggling, confront injustice, and express your faith in God.

Cursing can be a very serious matter that impacts our lives and can also become a deeply ingrained habit. To beat the habit we need to learn to think before we speak.

We often sabotage our best (or God's best) in our lives by choosing to dwell on negative self-talk. If we are going to harness our words we need to change the inner dialogue.

Our words have tremendous power (according to the Bible, the power of life and death is in our words). If words have power then we need to think about and choose carefully how we will use them.

Jesus was God in the flesh so he could be our substitute. He came to take our place, to take upon himself the full penalty of our sin. The greatest needs around us are spiritual, and yet most people don't realize it because some other struggle has their attention. As part of our Forward Initiative we have been actively addressing the physical needs of those in our community and world but we are doing that because we want to be part of the solution to the biggest problem that they have, their spiritual one.

Jesus, God incarnate, came to earth and fed people food, and healed people's physical problems. When he did, people were full, but they also experienced what it was to be in God's presence. As a church, we are called to address the physical suffering in our world and in our community, SO THAT people receive not only a resolution to their physical suffering, but so that they can experience the presence of God!

Jesus left glory to walk among us, God became flesh, this is referred to as the incarnation. He left perfection to walk among the broken. As a church we are the body of Christ, and we have to force ourselves to leave the comfort of what we know and become better acquainted with the plight of the poor, both in our own back yard as well as around the world.

Your story and what God is doing in and through you is bigger than you. Your story is part of a much bigger story! We have to start living for the larger story...to leave a legacy that is bigger than we are individually.

Following God always includes times of waiting. We need to learn to wait in confidence while waiting to hear from God. Bad things happen when we get impatient and take matters into our own hands.

Every cross-road in following God we will find ourselves at the intersection of faith and fear. Following God means growing faith and shrinking fear.

Following God means we have to prioritize. There will always be more to do than can get accomplished. How do we decide what to do?
