On this week's podcast... We welcomed Troopz to talk Arsenal, and the banter was very lively, so lively to the point that we decided to leave the depressing talk behind. Enjoy.

On this week's podcast... We look back at the Guimaraes and Famalicao games, discuss if Ramos should be getting more time in lieu of the lack of goal scoring from both of our starting forwards. Look at Benfica's covid cases for the season and determine how it has effected the teams performance, and look ahead to Estoril and Moreirense.

On this week's podcast.... We start off by recapping the B-Sad win, which booked us a place in the semifinal round against Estoril. We then turned our attention to the derby, where Benfica had a chance to close the distance to Sporting, but instead we were left in a bigger hole. We discuss the approach to the game, and why Benfica needed to do more. We also discussed the transfer window, the Rui Costa interview, and looked ahead to Guimaraes and Famalicao.

On this week's podcast.... We look back a Covid stricken Benfica, and our matches against Braga in the semifinals of the League Cup, and another league game in which we find a way to lose points. Covid has hit the team hard, but can Covid be an excuse for a Braga game which we could have won, and a Nacional game where we played for 15 minutes? We discuss both sides of the Covid coin, and try once again decipher what is going on with this team. In the second half, we look ahead to the Portuguese Cup quarter finals against B-Sad, and the Derby against Sporting at the Alvalade where a only a win is good enough. We discuss the scenario of a loss, and wonder if there is also a bad spell for Sporting, which could keep the league still within reach in the event of a loss.

On this week's podcast... We look back at Benfica's game against porto; we discuss tactical changes, attitude, and where do we go from here. Benfica will play in the semifinal of the League Cup under the dark cloud of Covid after announcing that 17(!) members of technical staff, roster, and directive have tested positive for COVID. We look ahead to the match up against Braga, and consider some coincidences

On the last podcast of 2020... We look back at the Super Cup game against porto, we discuss attitude, grit, commitment, all of which were probably part of Luisao's talk to the team at the end of the game. We also discussed the game against last place Portimonense, a tale of two halves, in opposite sides of the spectrum. 2020 has been and extremely unusual year, thank you for tuning in to us, we wish that 2021 is much better than 2020, both from a personal perspective, but also that Benfica can rise to glory in 2021. It's a triple play of game recaps, first we looked back at the last match of the Europa League group stages, where Benfica had minimal hopes of finishing first in the group, then a game against Vilafranquense for the Portuguese Cup where Benfica exercised their logical domination against a second division team. The last recap was of the Portuguese League Cup against Guimaraes for a spot in the competition's final four, where Benfica struggled to be efficient in front of goal but were able to book a spot in the final four after the penalty shoot out.  Lastly we look ahead to this weekend's game against Gil Vicente.

None of the internationals made the game roster as JJ opted to include 9 "B" team players and 2 juniors in the game call up sheet. The score line is not indicative of Benfica's domination of the game, but of their lack efficiency in front of goal. We recap the game, discuss JJ's presser comments and wonder if there's a message behind it. We then look ahead to Benfica's Europa League fixture in Scotland against Rangers, and Liga Nos' next fixture against Maritimo in the Madeira island.
