We're going to explore a valley, which if you think of a valley, it may seem like a dark place. You may feel like you're in a valley right now, and you're dead on the inside. We're going to learn how God is able to breathe life into our souls when we're in a valley filled with dry bones.

In the book of Amos we see that loving others and righteous living is more important to God than religious sacrifice. Despite everything Israel has done, God still desires to renew the hearts of his people through the coming Messiah.

God has built a bridge for us to come to Him. He makes that possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Every bridge that is built has a reason why it was built. That reason is called the reference point. It's important to know the reference point so that as the bridge is being built, they can always go back to the reference point when making decisions. So it is with our lives. Jesus should be our reference point for all we do in our lives.

The Book of Joel accounts for justice over evil in a form that's unique to the other Old Testament prophets. Unlike the other Books, Joel tells us a story about a terrible plague of locusts that seems to journey through time. Salvation from the Messianic King is once again prophesied, but this time the Holy Spirit is prophesied to come too, causing seemingly ordinary people to have visions, divine dreams, and be filled with God's Spirit.

While you need strong foundations for your bridge, you also need sturdy guardrails to keep you from falling off. Loving your neighbor as yourself will keep you from going off track on as you bridge the gap between yourself and others.

The people of God were growing cold and distant, and they no longer knew God intimately. But God didn't forget Israel even in their self-destruction. Despite all of their failings, Hosea's prophecies speak of a relentlessly pursuant God and the hope of the coming Messiah.

Bridges are extensions of a foundation. So what are our foundations when it comes to building bridges? Jesus said it best when He said to love God and love people.

Having differing opinions and likes doesn’t mean we can’t get along. It does mean we need to learn how to bridge the gap between and find common ground. We’ll discover tools to help us connect with others despite our differences

God is moved by the faithfulness of men like Ezekiel, who became His priest not because of status but because of his faith in God in a dark land, no matter the circumstances. His example is a model for believers everywhere.

The year 2020 is going to be such a year for the record books. At the same time, we cannot forget all the great things God is doing. God hasn't changed, even though our world is going through so many changes. And because of that, He's still using us to be His ambassadors to reach people. But how do we do that when there are so many opposing views? He wants us to remember that He wants us to be bridge builders, rather than bridge destroyers.

Ezekiel shows that Israel deserved this judgment, and also that God’s justice creates hope for the future. Many of the divine visions that Ezekiel shares are relevant to God's plans for reconstructing the present world and restoring His people to our former days in the Garden of Eden. Regardless of our sinful past, God always brings hope.

When we trust someone, it's usually because they have given us a reason to do so. When it comes to Jesus, sometimes we have a hard time trusting Him. We're going to explore why Jesus can be trusted.

The Book of Lamentations may not be the most popular book in the Bible, but it is an essential ingredient for helping humans to understand an important aspect of their relationship with God – the expression of grief and distress. This special book is a collection of five lament poems recounting the tragic fall of Jerusalem to Babylon. Just because they weren't in the promised land, it didn't mean they weren't able to live in His promises.

As the early church began, there were many obstacles they had to face. One thing they didn't do was stop meeting together in their homes. They continued to disciple one another and the Gospel continued to spread. God is still looking for people who will continue to meet and spread the Gospel as we trust in His guidance.

Jeremiah announces that God will judge Israel’s sins with an exile to Babylon. And then, he lives through the horror of his predictions. The Book of Jeremiah holds a graphic but important picture showing us how disobedience leads to destruction. At the same time, God still has a plan for our good, and not for evil, which gives us a hopeful future.

Many of us don't like it when we face storms in life. But God does great things in the storms. All we have to do is trust Him as He leads us.

This hope would be embodied through God's Servant known as ""Immanuel,"" who will one day establish a new Israel and God's Kingdom on the earth. Remarkably, Jesus does precisely that in His lifetime, fulfilling over 300 prophecies in Scripture that include intricate details of His death and resurrection foretold in Isaiah chapters 50 through 53. Throughout the test of time, Isaiah's words have encouraged thousands of people who have suffered the drudgeries in this life while waiting for the Messiah to come in His first and second appearances everyone is counting on.

God sees the role of Fathers very different than that of the world. The world tries to hide the power behind a father who has a genuine relationship with God by proclaiming that greatness can be achieved without following God.

The news, social media, and various informational platforms, flood us with controversy and division. Where is Jesus in all of this? Is He still relevant to what is happening? We're going to learn about Jesus and where He is when it comes to what's happening in the world.
