Sometimes we think that if God just showed up, then no one would have an excuse not to believe in Him. Why doesn’t God just show Himself so that everyone would believe?

Jesus said to "Go into all the world" to reach people for Him. The world is not just around the globe, it is right here in our own backyard, and because of that, we sometimes forget to still "go" and serve people like Jesus would. We are the church that was commanded to "Go!" In other words, the church is not stationary, confined to a building, it is mobile. We are going to hear from various people groups to reach as many different ethnicities as we can.

Nobody likes to fail. But while we always desire success, failures are also a part of life. Some of the greatest teachers in life are found in our failures. Throughout the Bible, many people experienced failures that eventually led to blessings. We’re going to learn from one of them, Peter, and the biblical principles that can lead us from failures to successful failures.

A missionary is an authorized message-bearer charged with a specific assignment. The central core of the Christian message is the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus gave us the Great Commission to go into the world and reach people for Him. This is what it means to be a missionary.

In sports, there is a difference between coaching and being coached. You can have the greatest coach, but if a player doesn’t want to be coached, than the coach coaches in vain. The same is true when it comes to being discipled. I can have Jesus as the greatest teacher, but if I don’t want to learn, then all might be in vain.

Amen is used over and over in churches, at the end of prayers, as a way to verbalize agreement, and even found in movies. What does it mean when “amen" is said. We’re going to learn that amen is more than just a word, it is all about living out the purposes of God.

I'm sure many people have heard the word "hallelujah" used before. Many times it's in the context of something amazing happening, sarcasm, or poking fun at a situation or at something that is said. We're going to learn what this word means so that we understand what is truly being said, and how it affects us spiritually.

God has given each person a gift, a personality, and certain abilities to be used for Him and His Kingdom. We're going to learn how each person contributes to the advancing of the Kingdom of God and why it's so important for us to use our life for Him.

We usually use terms like, "What does your heart tell you," or "Follow your gut instinct." Basically what we're referring to is discernment. But what is discernment. Does everyone have discernment? What does the bible mean in Psalm 119:66 when it says, "Teach me good discernment?"

We will often hear in church to “read the bible,” or we sometimes say, “do your daily devotions.” Just like having a daily intake of food for our physical body to stay physically healthy, our spirit needs daily spiritual food to stay spiritually healthy. We’re going to learn what it means to do daily devotions and why it’s important.

It was John the Baptist who proclaimed, "Repent, for the Kingdom of God is at hand!" Repent can come across as religion, when in reality, it basically means to change the way you think. In the context of our relationship with God, to repent simply means to change the way we think, change the direction we've been heading that was further from God, and turn to Him. We are going to explore what it means to repent and how to go about walking it out.

We love it when we receive grace from others, but when it comes to giving grace, sometimes it's difficult. For some of us, we don't understand what the bible means when it comes to God's grace. We're going to learn what it means to receive God's grace.
