Do we really understand the over-whelming, never-ending, reckless love of God? It’s a love that knows no boundaries, no circumstances, no conditions, always pursuing, and never failing. The love of God is found in Jesus Christ. And when we receive His love, we are called to go and love others in the same reckless way.

God celebrates us. He delights over us and sings His delight. Celebration invites celebration. Tonight we will learn to celebrate the presence of the Lord.

The words we speak can build someone up and add value to them, or it can tear them down and discourage them. The bible tells us that "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." (Proverbs 18:21) We're going to learn how Jesus encourages us, how to speak words that encourage others and why it's so important to do so.

Growth is a process. How long of a process depends on us. Life is full of testing moments, unfamiliar territory and sometimes painful situations, but we can rejoice and celebrate when we make our way through. Learning to celebrate those moments of growth fuels our walk to keep moving forward and staying the course God has set before us. Growth is always worth celebrating!

One of the greatest life lessons that we can learn from Jesus is to serve. In fact, Jesus said “ For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.” (Mark 10:45) But we can get so distracted in life and end up focusing on serving our selves and our own desires. We’re going to learn how God has equipped us to make an impact in the kingdom of God and His people with hands that serve.

What do we value in life that makes us want to celebrate? What defines a “good” life that is worth celebrating? The world’s definition, our American world’s concept, of what makes life good, is often a counterfeit happiness or ideal that the Enemy can use against us. Some of what we think makes life good does bring some happiness, but (maybe) not contentment. Most of what we strive to achieve is just for the here and now and is not eternal.

The bible tells us that there is no one who is good but God. One of the components of the Fruit of the Spirit is Goodness. As we go through life and experience the ups and downs that go with it, we may have a tendency to forget about the goodness of God, therefore, we must be reminded to celebrate God's goodness, especially when we don't feel like it.

Over and over Jesus said, "For whoever has ears to hear, let him hear." It's like Jesus is saying, "What I speak is important, so pay attention." We're going to learn why it's important to listen to the Lord and how to develop ears that hear.

There are four things I know for sure that will be in Heaven. God, Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and people. Core Value #2 here at New Hope Church is, "God values all people, therefore, we value all people." And because of that, everything we do is with the purpose of introducing people to God in the hopes that they find Him. We celebrate people because God rejoices when a person commits their life to Him. We're going to learn why we do what we do here at New Hope Church and what part we get to play.

We sometimes dwell more on the negative things that have happened in life rather than the great things. The Bible tells us to think about the good things more than we do the negative.

God will always look at our hearts when it comes to the things we do. Mother’s are a great example when it comes to the heart. They are created with a special kind of heart towards their children. Today, we get to celebrate mother’s, as well as learn that God looks for the kind of heart that responds quickly to His voice.

When God created us, He created us in His image, not another image, it was in His image. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit is all about relationships. God shows us how valuable relationships are by giving us a family. Sometimes we take for granted our loved ones, but God wants us to celebrate family, because as we celebrate family, we’re letting God know how grateful we are to Him that He blessed us with one another.

Many of us have been wondering how we can help our Puna Ohana. Sometimes we think we have a good plan. But, our Master, Jesus, has the greatest master plan.

Every miracle, every spiritual awakening, every move of the Spirit began with prayer. Prayer has the potential to do things that an ordinary decision will never produce, because it's what God gave to us to partner with Him. It's His power at work when we pray to Him, that's what makes prayer to effective. We're going to learn what prayer can potentially produce.

Prayer is paramount to the life of a Christian. God has given us a way to communicate with Him that doesn’t require batteries, a satellite signal, wiring, a permit, or social status. Many times we take this precious gift of prayer and forget we have direct access to God. There is a supernatural power available that happens through prayer. The encouragement is to pray for 40 seconds a day, for 40 days straight, for a specific purpose.
