Life is filled with so many uncertainties. We don’t know what will come of tomorrow. So we play it safe and never live past our comfort level. Jesus gives us a different perspective to consider... living out in the deeper waters of my faith in Him.

As important as our eyes are, there is a kind of "sight" that is even more important. The sight of the soul. How good is your “sight”? Taking a lesson straight from Jesus out of the book of John, we’re going to “see” just where we stand. Are we bearers of the light or are we stumbling in the dark?

If I don't scout my future, how will I know what to look for while on my way there? It's easy to hear the promises of God, much easier to miss them. The future God has for us is a good one, I just need to see what He sees in order to endure and persevere through the desert times.

When we are completely devoted to God, we can be hopeful about our lives, present and future. But what does it look like to be devoted and to not just "believe" in God? Let's take a look at the book of Exodus and how the Israelites were to show God their devotion and complete faith in Him.

We all crave authenticity. But what does it mean to be “authentic”? Authenticity begins with who Jesus is. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life, and when we follow after Him, we discover how to be authentic in who we are, as individuals and as a community.

God has a plan for all of us but it’s not always an easy path. Tonight we’ll look at different ways that people experienced God’s path in the Bible.

God made the heavens, skies, stars, galaxies, sunsets, sunrises, the earth, ocean, everything in them...which is pretty incredible. On top of that, He preserves it all. It would be easy to get sidetracked and get lost in the wonders of this world and the universe. I’m sure even the angels could get sidetracked...1/3 of them did. But not these angels. These angels of heaven worship God, and so should we.

We tend to easily forget as we wander throughout life. But many times, in order to move forward in the journey of our life, we must come to a place of remembrance with God. And when we do, we are reminded of the promises that God has, for each of us, and as a community.

There are moments in life where many things can come at us all at once, and it knocks us down. Sometimes we get up, and sometimes we stay down. It all depends on our stability.

Allowing God to renew areas of my life, spiritually, physically, emotionally, mentally, and socially, so that I can contribute to my community."

How does a good shepherd lead his flock? Well, we can take a look at how THE Good Shepherd leads and what we can learn from the Lord that can help us in our everyday lives.

We cannot grow and mature outside of God and others. This is why it’s so important for us to connect to Christ and one another. We cannot mature apart from God and each other. When we are connected to Jesus and others, we begin to find healing, restoration, wholeness and able to reach our God given potential.
