Revelation 3:20 tells us that Jesus stands outside of the door and knocks, and if anyone lets Him in, He will sit and dine with them. We have the opportunity and choice to let God come into our lives on a daily basis. When we do, all darkness must flee. When God comes into our lives, the healing begins.

When times are good we thank God and are happy to follow Him. But when times are hard, do we still follow, thank, and turn to Him? Some of us need a miracle and we forget to turn to THE Miracle Worker.

Letting go of something is an act of faith, only when it is difficult to do so. Faith is not needed for the easy things I can let go of. God gave us a way to learn the principles behind letting go, by showing us how He gave.

We hear a lot about the life of King David, from when he fought Goliath as a boy to his eventual mistake as the king, but he was called a Man after God’s own heart and because of this there is a lot to learn through his actions and conduct.

When it comes to God,I will either run towards Him, or run away from Him. It all depends on the direction I'm facing when I run. A man by the name of Jonah experienced running from God, which later on, ended up running towards God as he surrendered his way for God's way.

In the beginning, when we come into a relationship with Jesus, everything is simple. We learn about His grace, prayer, serving, loving, and the basic truth of the gospel. Somewhere along the journey in life, it can become complicated. Relationships are more difficult, hearing God is not as frequent, and the passion for the Lord can sometimes fade. We still love God, but don't feel as close. It could possibly because we no longer do the simple things as a Christian, we've now complicated our relationship with God.

Remembering is part of life that we need to work at. We are forgetful creatures, sometimes by habit, by age, and sometimes because of the way we have processed information. God uses various things so that we would remember. He gave us the rainbow to remember His promise of never flooding the earth again. He instructed the Israelites to build memorials to remind them of what God did. And Jesus gave us communion to remember Him.

Freedom in Christ is a phrase we might hear often, but what does that mean? Does it mean to do whatever I want? Does it mean to become a religious fanatic? When we surrender our life to Christ, we take on a whole new meaning of what freedom means.

We can have a courageous faith because God is faithful. Surrendering our life to Him is much easier when we take a look at God's track record and find He has never let His people down...and that goes into eternity.

When I show a chronic pattern of being offended or triggered to react negatively. It shows the areas I need to grow. When I get easily offended, it shows where I am unteachable. We need to grow a culture of healthy feedback. We can learn from Nehemiah how to stay teachable.

Everything about You is good. So why wouldn't I surrender my life to You? My life is best secured when it's surrendered to You.

God's grace is a supernatural power that is freely given to us all. Once we understand His grace, we'll have no hesitation to surrender our life under His wonderful grace.

Everyone is created in the image of God. As fathers, we have the wonderful privilege and honor to have the perfect example of who we are to aspire to in our Heavenly Father. Sometimes we look at our failures as fathers while God is looking at our potential. What God says about us, should be at the forefront ahead of what everyone else says, including what we say to ourselves.

How do we know if we’re blessed? By what we have? By comparing to others? How easy is it to be discontent and want more in our lives, relationships, or at work? Let’s take a look at what’s the difference between wanting and coveting as we round out the 10 Commandments.
