What did Courtney mean when she said, "Watch out for you hidden bitterness toward innocence"? 3. Why does Jesus mention angels in verse 10? 4. Have you ever had someone turn their back on you? How does God's attitude toward you make you feel? 5. In what ways does God resemble a shepherd? What does that mean fro your own relationship with Him? 6. What do you tend to do when you sin against God? What should you do?

Malachi 3:13-4:6 May 10, 2017 Main Idea: Those who live for Him will get to be with Him. 1. What could cause a Christian to wonder if serving God is “worth it” How would you respond to him or her? 2. What will the Day of the Lord be like? 3. How does remembering that the Day is coming affect our lives today? 4. What does the Messenger come to do? Does his message affect our lives at all?

Malachi 3:6-12 May 3, 2017 Main Idea: God helps those who trust in Him. 1. What do you learn about God's attitude towards His people in v.6? 2. "God's relationship with His people isn't based on their actions, but on His faithfulness." How do you feel about that? 3. What affect does regular, disciplined giving have on a person? 4. Where is your trust? 5. What is God speaking to you through this message?

As God’s people, how do we determine what is “good” and “evil”? How did the Israelites in this passage determine it? 3. Why did these people think they could get away with injustice? 4. What similarities do you see between Malachi’s culture and our culture today? 5. How does God respond to sin? How does that affect you? 6. What would you say if your friend asked you, “How can a loving God judge people?” 7. How does this passage shed light on Jesus’ purpose for coming?
