Everyone loves a good story. Since the dawn of time, the world has been moved by stories. One of the greatest storytellers of all time was a Jewish man named Jesus. In just a few short lines, he was able to paint pictures that would challenge and inspire millions of people for the last 2,000 years. This week we begin a new series looking at some of the stories Jesus told. Let the inspiration begin!

Did you know that a single domino can eventually knock over the Empire State Building? It's true! If you lined up a series of dominoes that were each double the size and weight of the domino before it, with just 27 dominoes you could knock over the Empire State Building. Pretty impressive, right? In our final Psalm this week we are going to learn how one thing can lead to another and if we're not careful the dominoes of our choices can lead us to some pretty tough places. Or they can change the world for Christ, but the choice is up to us!

Every day we wake up, there seems to be a new reason to worry. There is no shortage of problems in our world and in our lives individually. We want to be free and see God show up but it can be hard when we're surrounded by fears and anxieties. But what if we could find a way to let go? What if we could find a way to look beyond the worry to discover something greater? Today's Psalm gives us some practical advice on how to stop fretting and discover the life God desires for us.

There’s a difference between being “saved” and experiencing God’s presence in your life. There are many people who long to see more of God and have that connection with Him, but for some reason don’t see Him moving. Have you ever considered that maybe that’s not God’s fault; maybe it’s ours? David tells us in Psalm 15 what it takes to experience that connection with God. Psalm 15

Have you ever been lost and in need of directions? Before Google Maps, it was common to be in a place where you had to go into a gas station and ask the clerk for directions. Sometimes that ended up being a 50/50 proposition. You never knew until too late if you were getting good directions. In life, there are lots of places we can go for directions and advice. If we’re not careful, though, we might find out too late that we’re worse off than when we started. Psalm 1

Christians claim that God is good. They say He's loving and just and kind. That's supposedly why they worship Him. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to look around at our world and see something different. War. Murder. Rape. Cancer. If God is so good and so powerful, why does He allow this kind of stuff to exist? How can He still be called good? This week we try to find some answers.

You've probably have heard a Christian say something like this before - You know that Jesus is the only way to heaven, so if you're not a Christian you're going to hell. What's up with that? Why are Christians so close-minded? Why are they so judgmental? What's wrong with live and let live? This week we take a hard look at why Christians are so small minded.

Affairs. Pornography. Lust. Immorality. While sex can be glorious it also has the potential to destroy. What happens when we don't "swipe right"? What do we do if we've messed up? How do we fix what was broken? What do we do if we've burned the house down? God's Word has a lot to teach us.

There's nothing better on a cold day than a roaring fire in the fireplace. When used properly, that fire can warm the house, provide comfort and joy and it makes everything better. Sex can be like a fire in the fireplace. When kept in it's proper place it's an act of worship but if not tended to, it can burn the house down!

It seems like there's a lot of confusion when it comes to the topic of sex and sexuality. Everyone and their brother seems to have an idea of what is right and wrong; what's okay and what's not okay. A lot of people say that the Bible is old-fashioned and behind the times. Who's right? Who get's to determine what's okay and what's out of bounds? Why does it matter?

Our culture seems obsessed with it. No matter where you look it's staring at you. Sex is everywhere…on TV commercials, in magazine ads, in clothing styles. It's all over the place, so how do we deal with this as Christians? How do we live for Christ in a sex-crazed world? Is there any hope? How do we "swipe right"?
