As we conclude our series through the wilderness, we learn that the distance between Egypt and and the Promised Land is about an 11 day journey (.00086 MPH), so why 40 years? Everyone has an image in their mind of who God is. Some say He doesn't exist, some say there are many, and some believe there is one. In our current sermon series, we have seen that God has been the provider of all things for the Isrealites in the wilderness. Although God, constantly shows Himself, the people continue to grumble and complain about their current situation. In today's message we see that God brings the Israelites to their first battle. Time is our most valuable resource because its the one thing we can never get back once its gone. We don't have to look very far to see people who are giving something to someone or an organization. Many times, it is broadcast for all to see this person's or organization's generosity. Each one of us will go through different stages of our life financially. There will be times where we just can't make ends meet. There will be times when we are just bringing enough in to get by. Research has shown, that living generously is a natural confidence builder.
