Really good people go through really bad times. How we respond to those is what matters. What really makes difference in how we get through is how God works in us and in our circumstances.

There are times we all encounter difficult people, people that are hard to love. That does not mean we have to be victims of those with narcissistic behaviours. This is a balanced perspective on the teaching of Jesus on loving our enemies, or as some people call them...Jerks.

In this message Jesus takes on the religious establishment on the issue of the Sabbath. In addition to Moses commandment to keep the sabbath, they implemented their own set of rules and regulations. Jesus wasn't buying it--at all. While challenging them, we can't loose the significance of the blessings a Sabbath day of rest brings our way.

It's easy to fall into the trap of becoming 'religious' and lose sight of the importance of maintaining a fresh, vibrant relationship with Jesus. Jesus uses some vivid language in today's Bible text to remind us of the importance of continuing to want a fresh vibrant relationship with him.

Stuff we should do. There is no doubt that there are things we should do, that we don't do, not because we don't intend to, but because we simply put it off. When it comes to living naturally supernaturally, it should not be put off. There is 'stuff' God wants us to do. So, do it.

Temptation, we all deal with it. Todays message is a word of encouragement on how we can face it and overcome it.

You can be nice or you can be honest. How often have we suppressed truth in order to keep the peace or prevent hurt feelings. John the Baptist never did that. In today's message you will gain some great insights about telling the truth and living the truth in a day when truth is fairly subjective.
