  • 12-0: Rival Gamecocks Pose No Threat as the Tigers Eye the Playoff

    05/12/2019 Duração: 01h13min

With a 38-3 win in Williams-Brice over the weekend the Clemson Tigers extended their win streak to 6 in their rivalry with South Carolina which has become somewhat of an afterthought given that the Tigers are now one win away from securing a 5th straight berth in the College Football Playoff. With the victory Clemson remained at #3 behind Ohio State and LSU in the penultimate playoff rankings as we head into conference championship weekend. In this ep we “rant” about the rankings, weak schedules, good wins and bad losses and make our predictions as to what the final field may look like come Sunday (2:46). We then reflect on the win over South Carolina as the Tigers continue to prove that they have one of the best offensive (29:32) and defensive (41:29) units in the country. We wrap with a lookahead to the upcoming ACC Championship game against the #23 Virginia Cavaliers in what looks to be Clemson’s toughest test of the year (55:36), not that that’s saying much... :shrug_emoji: Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 11-0: Clemson Holds Steady at #3 after 52-3 Blowout of Wake

    20/11/2019 Duração: 01h21min

Clemson blew out Wake Forest 52-3 on Senior Day over the weekend as the Trevor Lawrence sitting in the stands drew more attention from the ABC television crew than did the game on the field. And with a 4th straight victory of 45 points or more the 11-0 Tigers held steady at #3 in the College Football Playoff rankings as the top 7 remained largely unchanged. In this ep we discuss the latest poll and the thinning of the herd after weekend that saw 2 more unbeatens fall and Alabama losing QB Tua Tagovailoa for the season with a hip injury (12:42). When then discuss another dominating performance by both the defense (37:00) and offense (50:24) in the victory over Wake before wrapping with a look at the ACC Coastal (1:03:45). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 10-0: Clemson Up to #3 After a 55-10 Taming of the Wolfpack

    13/11/2019 Duração: 01h24min

The Clemson Tigers took out their frustrations from being seeded outside of the top 4 in the initial College Football Playoff rankings by handing Dave Doeren and the N.C. State Wolfpack everything they deserved and more in a 55-10 thrashing in Raleigh on Saturday night. That, combined with losses by Alabama and Penn State, placed the Tigers right back where they belong at #3 in the latest poll. In this ep we discuss the rankings and action from over the weekend, ponder how Georgia could possibly be ranked #4 and describe a scenario in which three SEC teams could make it into the playoffs (3:04). We then recap the glorious annihilation of the Wolfpack as the offense continued to roll (31:03) and the defense held their 10th straight opponent to under 300 total yards (49:06). We wrap with a look around the ACC and try to predict who will claim the right for the opportunity to unseat Clemson in the ACC Championship game in 4 weeks (1:04:21). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 9-0: Clemson Pounds Wofford; Debuts at #5 in the 2019 CFB Playoff Rankings

    06/11/2019 Duração: 01h23min

Fresh off of a 59-14 foregone conclusion of a victory over the Wofford Terriers on Saturday the Clemson Tigers debut at #5 in the inaugural 2019 College Football Playoff rankings despite winning their 24th game in a row and remaining undefeated since claiming their 2018 title. In this ep we the discuss the rankings, which will inevitably look much different a month from now once the playoff teams are announced, and express no cause for concern of an undefeated Clemson team being left out (7:04). We then briefly touch on the Tigers’ inconsequential pounding of the Terriers (44:30) before offering our mid-season-ish assessment of a team that has yet to peak (1:02:06). Win and we’re in, it’s as simple as that. Enjoy the show and Go Tigers!!!

  • 8-0: The Tigers Maul Boston College

    30/10/2019 Duração: 34min

Boston College was the latest victim of a surging Clemson offense and paralyzing defense on Saturday night as the Tigers preyed on the Eagles en route to a 59-7 thrashing on homecoming in Death Valley. Due to the wildfires in California we offer an abbreviated recap of the game, giving our takes on an offense (6:26) and defense (16:01) that are returning to championship form. We wrap with a look at the dwindling list of playoff contenders (19:39) and welcome the return of a beloved special guest to the Pawcast (23:06). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 7-0: (#1-4)Clemson 45, Louisville 10

    23/10/2019 Duração: 01h10min

The Clemson Tigers continued their free fall in the AP Poll over the weekend as a 35 point win on the road at Louisville wasn’t enough to convince the AP voters that the ROY bus should remain parked in storage. As it turns out Clemson fans joked about it with each other themselves during a 1st half that saw Trevor Lawrence throw two interceptions and with the Tigers exiting up only 3 points more than Alabama was at the half, in Tuscaloosa, over a Tennessee team that had previously lost to Georgia State. And, yes, we acknowledge that Tua left midway through the 2nd half, but Chase Brice > Mac Jones. And we know, we get it, it doesn’t matter. It’s just fun to pick apart the logic... In this ep we reflect on Clemson’s 45-10 victory, the subsequent drop in the polls, and why you shouldn’t sucker punch someone who's wearing a protective polycarbonate helmet with titanium face mask #kirbynotsmart (5:15). We then touch on an offense that was far from perfect but still managed to rack up 551 yards (11:16) and disc

  • 6-0: Clemson Responds With Blowout of FSU

    14/10/2019 Duração: 01h25min

The Clemson Tigers bounced back after a close win against the Tarheels two weeks ago with a dominating performance over a hapless Florida State team, en route to a 45-14 victory in Death Valley on Saturday night. In this ep with discuss what this game meant for the team and the subsequent drop in the AP poll for the second week in a row (1:19). We then break down an offensive performance that was just what the doctor ordered (17:55) as well as another masterpiece from Brent Venables’ defense (31:50). We wrap with a look ahead to the Louisville game and a review of Week 7 in College Football (51:47). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 5-0: #2 Clemson escapes with a 21-20 win in Chapel Hill

    07/10/2019 Duração: 56min

A week removed from a nerve-racking 21-20 victory over a resurgent UNC team in Chapel Hill, Clemson fans are searching for answers, albeit with less urgency having seen this story play out in the past. As it turns out the sky is not falling, despite the slip in the polls, and the #2 Tigers sit at 5-0 with no credible threat to their playoff bid should they finish the season undefeated. In this ep we offer up our takeaways from the game (1:32) and search for answers as to why what should be a prolific offense appears to be struggling early on (14:48). We also discuss what was another solid performance by the defense (30:30) and the good and bad on special teams (37:38). We wrap with a look around College Football right as conference match ups begin to heat up (47:05). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 3-0: (1)Clemson 41, Syracuse 6

    17/09/2019 Duração: 01h03min

The #1 Clemson Tigers took care of business over the weekend with a 41-6 victory over Syracuse in the oxymoronic Carrier Dome. In this ep we recap the game (9:16) including our thoughts on yet another dominant defensive performance that squeezed the life out of the Orange (15:40), an offense that somehow put up prolific numbers while also looking rusty (27:21) and continued solid performances on special teams (42:28). We wrap by discussing if there’s any legitimate contenders left on the Tigers’ regular season schedule and with a look around College Football (45:18). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 2-0: Clemson downs the Aggies

    11/09/2019 Duração: 01h07min

Nick and Cody log on to break down the Tigers' 24-10 victory over #12 Texas A&M, and survey the CFB landscape after 2 weeks of play.

  • 1-0: (1)Clemson 52, G.T. 14

    03/09/2019 Duração: 01h13min

The Clemson Tigers started the 2019 football season on the right foot by dominating a Georgia Tech team that is not only rebuilding but completely redefining itself after the departure of 11 year former head coach Paul Johnson. In this recap we share our takeaways from the game (1:48), discuss ETN, TLaw and a potent offense that should have college football terrified (11:32), a young defense with some holes to fill (32:50), and a special teams unit that, well, may actually be special (47:27). We wrap on an interesting if not underwhelming weekend of college football, especially if you’re the SEC(54:44). Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 2019 Clemson Football Season Preview Show

    28/08/2019 Duração: 01h47min

2019 Clemson Football is here! The defending champs take the field on Thursday night against Georgia Tech in Death Valley as the preseason's #1 ranked team for the first time in school history. In this season preview ep we discuss storylines that we anticipate may unfold with Trevor Lawrence and a potent Clemson Offense (6:30), a Defense that loses a historically great defensive line (30:12), and a Special Teams unit that we posit may be relied upon a bit more than last year (57:11). We then discuss a regular season schedule that is, yes, deal with it, historically pathetic but has it’s fair share of potholes to navigate (1:06:11) before wrapping with our season predictions for a Clemson Tiger team that is building upon "best team ever," with its sights set on "best dynasty ever." It’s mighty fine to be a Tiger. Now spot the damn ball…Go Tigers!!!

  • August Camp Wrap Up - Clemson Sets its Sights on 2019

    19/08/2019 Duração: 01h07min

As August camp wraps up and the Tigers turn their attention towards the 2019 opener next Thursday against Georgia Tech the script has been flipped from last year as Brent Venables' defense carries the most question marks heading into the season as Clemson looks to defend its 2018 National Championship. In this ep we attempt to fill in the blanks on defense while acknowledging that this unit has a long way to go to match the success of 2015-18 squads and caution that things may not be easy in the early going (2:08). But the Tigers will also field what may be the most potent offense in college football, led by QB Trevor Lawrence who, as dominating as he was in 2018, still has room to improve on his freshman campaign (23:24). He will be accompanied by what looks to be the most talented WR group the Tigers have ever fielded and one that, in our opinion, may included 3 of the top 5 WRs in the history of Clemson football when all is said and done (34:03). We conclude by discussing the historically weak schedule thi

  • August Camp Check In: The Defending Champs Turn the Page to 2019

    13/08/2019 Duração: 01h02min

August camp is in full swing in Tiger Town as the defending champs hit the field in preparation for the 2019 season. In this ep we check in on the progress of a talented but unproven defense that comes in with something to prove (7:30) and gush unapologetically over what may very well be the most dominant offense Clemson has ever seen (28:50). Both sides of the ball will showcase dynamic freshmen who are making a name for themselves in camp and who could stand to have a significant impact for this year's squad. We wrap with some Tigers in the NFL discussion as we try to keep track of all the recent pro's that Dabo's machine has pumped out (54:15). It's quite a time to be a Tiger fan, that's for sure. Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 2019 Clemson Football: From Best Ever to Next Chapter

    29/07/2019 Duração: 01h32min

Fall camp is on the horizon for the 2019 Clemson football team as the defending champions set their sights on back to back titles for the first time in school history. The Tigers exceeded expectations two years ago after the departure of Deshaun Watson as the 2017 team made it back to the college football playoffs, only to be eliminated in the semifinal by eventual national champions Alabama in an unsuccessful bid to repeat. But this years team is following a different story line as it returns QB Trevor Lawrence who, along with RB Travis Etienne, has put the Heisman on the minds of folks in Tigertown. And while the loss of the Power Rangers and turnover at linebacker leaves question marks for a Clemson defense that has a lot to prove, talent abounds and we’ve seen this story play out before. If you’re a Clemson fan you know what greatness looks like by now and don’t be surprised if you see it in the 2019 squad. Summer’s almost over…spot the damn ball!!! Enjoy and Go Tigers!!!

  • 2019 Clemson Baseball Season Review

    10/06/2019 Duração: 58min

Monte Lee’s 4th season as the Clemson Baseball coach was a disappointment in the eyes of Tiger fans as the team failed to reach 40 wins for the first time in his tenure and once again made an early exit in a Regional. In this ep we recap the Tigers’ brief ACC Tournament appearance and disappointing postseason (2:36) as Clemson's Super Regional drought extends to 9 years. We then look back on what ailed the team this season (16:53), reflect on the bright spots (27:42), discuss where the program goes from here (36:31) and hand out season awards (47:02). The silver lining…it’s almost football season…Enjoy and Go Tigers!
