Much to the excitement of guitarists worldwide, guitar virtuoso Micha Schellhaas will be releasing his full-length debut album “Double Take” on December 1st. The album features Supertramp guitar legend Carl Verheyen and drummer Chad Wakerman, who is best known for his work with Frank Zappa and Allan Holdsworth. Says Micha, “ ‘Double Take’, my first full length release, reflects my relationship with the US and my journey to come and in the end live here. After I was already established in Europe with steady gigs and my own recording studio, the artist in me was still not happy and I needed to go and check out the source and birthplaces of the music and ‘sound’ I was most inspired by: Jazz, Blues and Rock. My first trip was a 3 month driving loop starting and ending in NYC all the way through New Orleans, Austin, LA, San Francisco and back. Songs like ‘Travel Song’ and ‘Texaleans’ reflect that time. Later I lived in Austin/Texas for a while and you can hear that ‘Stevie Ray’ sound in my songs ‘Ford F-150’ and

The RAZ Band have been toiling in the rock and roll vineyard for longer than you might think. Dedicated to the coolest place to ever grow up, the release of Madison Park  introduces The RAZ Band to a wider mainstream audience and is their breakout album. This week I want to explore the scams in the buisiness. They take several forms and each is bad. Some target the insurance company, some target the bail bond company, and some target the defendant. All are bad, and all need to be stopped. Scammers have come a long way from the Nigerian Prince offering you $millions of dollars, Today they use far more sophisticated methods, Spearphishing is the term. They know the target and in the case of a defendant they know the weak spot.

CUTTING CREW has announced details of their first new material for ten years. The multi-million selling, Grammy nominated UK outfit fronted by Nick Van Eede were responsible for one of the biggest hits of the 1980s - with (I Just) Died In Your Arms – and the band’s revelatory new album entitled Add To Favourites is their strongest to date and is OUT NOW on In Like Flynn Records, via Cherry Red Records.  I will be sitting down with Nick to talk about old and new. I rather like Add To Favourites. Yes it is rooted in the 80's but what is wrong with that? It should be an interesting discussion.

With it being Halloween I am hoping that Tat-2 will share the scarey story of him pretending to be a nubile young lady earlier this week. It is the best Trick or Treat I have heard in a while. On a much more serious note, I am hoping to have Michelle Esquenazi  a New York bail agent and the Chairperson for the New York State Bail Bond Association joining us to discuss how Pre-trial is changing the rules of engagement in New York state. Can New York fight off Pre-trial? It is easy to say, Pre-trial doesn't effect me. Trust me, it is coming to a state near you very soon.
