We know that lying is wrong. It's one of the 10 Commandments right? Too often, we believe lies about ourselves: I'm not good enough; I'm unloved; I'm a bad person; God is done with me; I'm too fat/old/skinny/short/tall/ugly.  We believe the lies we tell ourselves- but these are not from God. Join us on Sundays in May as we dive into the heart and figure out: What LIES are in your heart?

How do we know we are to receive this physical, resurrected body? How will be witness this fact to others?

Is that a tool in your hand? Or is it just a Coke bottle? Hard to say...without the right framework. How do you see your resurrection life and what does it mean for the rest of your life? Jesus' resurrection continues to shed life on our eternal life.

What do you believe will happen to you after you die? You may believe you are going to heaven- but what will your body be like? What does the glorified body look like?

There are some things that cannot be explained- even if we would like them to be. Are you okay with the mystery of God? How do you deal with it? There are many unexplainable events around Jesus' death that can only be described as a God who is present.

Are you an open person? You might be, but there are probably things that you hold back from others- usually bad things, sinful things. Sin leads us to a place of shame and hiding. We feel totally exposed (naked) if someone knew all those things! Yet- it also led Jesus to a cross, naked to die for us.

We are moving from Thursday night into Friday. Soon, Jesus will be on his march outside Jerusalem to the cross. To get there, he must stand trial. What charges could they bring to Jesus? And what does that mean for us?

We continue to work through the last few hours of Jesus' life- from Gethsemane to the tomb, by reading the Gospel of Matthew. Today, Jesus is betrayed, deserted, and arrested. Side Note: Pastor Roger is still struggling with some kind of cough so please excuse the coughs!

What were the last few hours of Jesus' life like? What happened? Why is it so important? Join us during our new series the Last Hours of Jesus as we look into these questions. We begin this week in the Garden of Gethsemane and see a grief stricken Jesus. Why is he so full of grief?

If I want more of Jesus, if I want to go further with Him, what should I do?

How did the people in the Bible feel in Jesus' presence? We rarely get an insider look like that. However, on the road to Emmaus, we can see how they felt with Jesus. It reminds us why we need to go Further with Him.

This is the third Sunday in Advent; we lit the Candle of Joy. Jesus brings Joy, not happiness, into the world. Have you experienced the difference?

Jesus is the Light of the World; today, we lit the second Advent candle: the Candle of Peace. Jesus brought us peace into a dark world. But Peace with whom? And what does Peace look like?

Gratitude isn't just something we say- such as a quick, automatic 'thank you' at Wal-Mart. It is an attitude of our heart that pours out of us and we can scarecly hold it in.
