Manga Pulse 480: Olga’s Syrup
15/11/2022 Duração: 01h26minHey there. Did you know that our episodes often come with reviews? Two of them, if you can believe it. You should believe it because we don’t lie. Unless we’re running for congress. Then we’re going to offer you blowjob robots that crap money. We like to pull out all the stops when we’re campaigning. Even if it makes the intersections far more dangerous. Tim has Olgami. What do you do when you’re a sexy taxi driver in Korea? You drive assholes around and try not to yell at the customers. Life gets pretty boring until you run into a vampire at your church who may be eating people. Even … Continue reading "Manga Pulse 480: Olga’s Syrup"

Popcorn Pulse 184: Let me see the Manager
08/11/2022 Duração: 01h33minIt’s still October when we recorded this so we had to do something scary and spooky. What could be scarier than old memes turned into a movie? How about a direct to cable network movie on the BET network? Boo! Got you good you fuckers. Yes, we have a movie based on a dead meme, Karen[2021]. Yes, there is a titular antagonist named Karen. She gets angry when our protagonists, an African-american couple, move in. Karen does a lot of things ripped directly from the headlines from the past couple of years. This culminates in a revolver sword fight that isn’t nearly as cool as written down. Tim has The … Continue reading "Popcorn Pulse 184: Let me see the Manager"

Episode 776: Fall 2022 Previews #4
05/11/2022 Duração: 01h34minThis week on Anime Pulse I'm alone and frightened. Joseph has gotten into the Halloween spirit and ghosted me (due to CO̶̰̯̩̔̒́͗̾͜VID). There's talk of anime movies, new fantasy anime on the way, the Simpsons still existing and much more. For community I ask you what horror themed anime you can come up with but I discover in my previews, that the true h̴̻̩͖̳͆orror is the garbage romc̶̳̍̽̉͋ͅò̷̱͓̝̅̊͝m anime I watched along the way.

Manga Pulse 479: Giant Pumpkin
01/11/2022 Duração: 01h42minGather up your rayon capes. Put on the elastic masks with the sharp mouth slot. And steal the classic Mickey D’s treat buckets from those obsessive collectors. It’s the spooky season and that means manga featuring all sorts of skellingtons and bones and all that autumn jazz. Or we might have just incidentally found manga that sort of fits by happenstance. Tim has Pumpkin Night. A girl gets friended by someone in a pumpkin mask while home alone. Then she gets a threat of direct message. So far, normal for most of social media. Then a Amoozoon delivery shows up. With a knife in the head and a murderous schoolgirl … Continue reading "Manga Pulse 479: Giant Pumpkin"

Manga Pulse 478: 100 Deaths
18/10/2022 Duração: 02h02minLike a little white rabbit, we’re late. But that’s just because we prefer it raw rather than wrapped. Caseless bratwurst is the tastiest and don’t let the haters tell you differently. There is a slight chance of food poisoning though. Especially if the cart you’re buying from is currently being raided by the FDA. Can’t beat the “going out of business because of the raid” deals though. Tim has Deathco. Do you like assassins? How about costumes that look like they’re from the sixties? Then this manga is probably right up your alley, two people besides Tim that have such a niche. We get introduced to a pair of yakuza … Continue reading "Manga Pulse 478: 100 Deaths"

Popcorn Pulse 182: Purple Hook
27/09/2022 Duração: 01h35minIf you’ve had a subscription streaming service you’ve probably been advertised an original movie or two. And if you’ve been remotely curious, or drunk enough, you’ve tried watching one of these. Especially if the social media hype has gotten to you. Then you watched it and promptly forgot about it. Which is how Tim and Weltall became probably the last two people in the world to bother watching a Netflix original movie that came out months ago. That’s right, we collected some Purple Hearts[2022]. It features a bar tender lady who has diabeetus and can afford her insulin. In spite of living in California where there’s state provided health insurance. … Continue reading "Popcorn Pulse 182: Purple Hook"

Tim has Heavenly Executioner Chiwoo. Chiwoo is a little ruffian. A streetwise rapscallion. He gets in fights until one day a bounty hunter comes looking for him. He’s the sun of a famous executioner. When he find out his dad was infamous executioner, he goes some sort of super say-ecutioner … Continue reading "Manga Pulse 477: Girlfriend Executioner"
