This week on Anime Pulse we got the return of a long thought dead Crunchyroll original, COVID shots, and five episodes of exposition. Up first Joseph is a bit lonely and stressed out so his body decided to break a little, and Andrew asked us before what the best anime adaptations of games were now he wants to know what the worst ones are. Then in the industry news we got topics like when a cosplayer shows more skin than the character in the series does, and another Goo Rankings poll for most entertaining Shonen series. Then in our FINAL previews episode for the summer season, yes, were sure this time, the great Joseph is forced to work at a bar after being defeated by a slime, and Andrew survives Would War 3 only to enter a battle royal with gods.

This week on Anime Pulse we got going from top of an apartment complex to bottom of a dungeon, the Anime Olympics, and being so so lonely. Up first IRL news as Joseph has turns his skills to masonry, and Andrew is Gousto about being very busy reading huge Chungus. Then in the industry news we meet a A.I. mama who is ready listen to all our woes, and an odd list for the top endings in shonen manga. And finally the previews, our final show of straight previews, sees us out with Joseph being isekai'd to balance checkbooks and mine demon ore, while Andrew becomes a superstar idol vampire with blue eyes that reads from a cursed book.

Inside of this show are two wolves. One of them is a manga. The other is also a manga. This is actually a manga show in which we review them. And sometimes, just sometimes. This week on Anime Pulse we got a spackling good time, video games that became anime, and being so ugly you get denied hero status. Up first Joseph has been working on a new project he's been working on in his bathroom, and Andrew has bought an arcade stick to become an elite gamer. Then in the industry news Andrew goes it alone, talking about his new found respect for J.C. Staff and some dude flinging shit at Miyazaki. Lastly in our second round of previews Joseph gets rejected by the goddess that summoned him so he opens up a drugstore, and Andrew is born from a giant peach so he combines with another boy to rescue a princess.

This week on Anime Pulse we got Joseph being attacked by a flying drill bit, Vladimir Putin hates anime, and cat ears. Up first IRL news with Joseph wrestling some tires, and Andrew wants us to name our favorite animal ears in anime. Then in the industry news we learn of PayPal being old and crotchety again, and a writer for Batman says Eastern comics are in but Western are out. And lastly are our first round of previews! Joseph goes home after losing his job and wakes up to find he's dating two girls, and Andrew practices his kickboxing but gets attacked by an 'Other' while 'Drops' fly around the streets.

What was it with the nineties and heist movies? Was there a memo somewhere in Hollywood that was said “money is boring, they must steal art!” There might have been if just so the plebs don’t get the idea to rob the movie execs of their money. Our thirtieth episode has a bit of a mid-life crisis and looks back to it’s teen years. So it reached back and grabbed the novel and the film, The Devil Wears Prada. The overarching premise is pretty straightforward. A regular girl manages to land a job at a prestigious fashion magazine as a personal assistant to the owner. What happens to her when the owner, editor is a workaholic full on bitch? Shockingly, not quitting on the very first day. We settle on the movie as just above the book as Meryl Streep does a great job bringing sympathy to the boss.

Because we’ve dragged out a movie from the land of Tetris. We jointly bring you Hitler’s Kaput![2008]. Weltall was curious as to what exactly passes for comedy in the land that gave us both Putin and Yakov Smirnoff. It’s set in World War II. Our protagonist is a Russian spy who’s part of the upper tier of the National Solcialists Super Secret club.
