This week on Anime Pulse we got too many medications, student council presidents, and cute girls doing future high school things. Up first Joseph feels like an old man after having his teeth pulled, and Andrew's running his computer off a potato. Then in the industry news there's talk of a second season of the Devil is a Part-Timer, a live action Hellsing, and crunchy rice burgers. And rounding things out are the reviews with Joseph standing on a waste of time, and Andrew tries to bring up the mood of a declining population by riding around on a future scooter.

Anyone check in on that Harry Potter guy? We hear the author hasn’t been getting high praise these days. Turns out Radecliffe was in an action movie in Guns Akimbo[2019]. Playing against type, he’s a nerdy loser who works for a pay to play game. At night, he drinks craft beer, masturbates, and “trolls” people online. As this is a film, trolling involves telling people they suck in livestream chats. This gets the attention of the head of an organization that runs real life murder fights. This week on Anime Pulse we got expensive mousepads, the worst characters arcs ever, and saving a loli monster because you must protect the cute. Up first IRL news has Joseph racking up the bill on the FGO wafer cards, and Andrew is ready to face Bowser's Fury as a giant furry. Then in the industry news the topics come in with a spicy burger, an anime for Hatsune Miku, and a ridiculous amount of hate for a short and busty dragon. Lastly in the reviews Joseph delves deep into a dungeon to pickup a monster girl, and Andrew begins his dating experiences by marrying the first girl that saved his life.

In the nineteen fifties everything was Detroit rolling iron, drive in movies, and sock hops. At least according to our industrious research of watching Happy Days. So where was someone supposed to go to get a bite to eat without waiting forever? In comes The Founder[2016] to tell that story. Michael Keaton plays Ray Kroch, the founder of the McDonald’s corporation. It tells an edited version of the how Ray was working for a shake machine company and met the McDonald’s brothers. Afterwards industry news rolls in with free repairs for damaged figurines, a cute Good Smile video, and Crunchyroll pissing off our community with their awards show. And rounding us out are the reviews as Joseph attempts and fails to avoid the sexual advances of multiple monster girls, and idol Andrew-Chan makes a comeback with his hit new single.

Now that you’re hearing this read to you but a purple felted vampire, we have films for your perusal. We’ve got some of the late, great Raul Julia in Roger Corman’s Frankenstein Unbound(1990). Raul is Frankenstein who get’s visited by John Hurt who is hurled back in time because of a wormhole weapon he created in our future. Like all Roger Corman films, it’s held together with spit and twine. Back for a limited time only, we have twin manga reviews. Available only as a bundle which comes every other week. Ok, so it’s not that limited but you do only get twenty some odd episodes about manga every year. That’s like, not nearly enough to satiate. So here comes the fix. Tim has Nano Machine. Our protagonist is a prince running through the woods evading assassins in a vaguely historical times. This week on Anime Pulse we got incoming snow storms, China against anime, and performing surgery on a dragon girl. Up first IRL news has Joseph morning the loss of his head phones, and Andrew asks us about the worst official anime couples. Then in the industry news there's a positive law being introduced to protect escalator riders, and China being super dumb and not checking the facts about an isekai anime. Finally in the reviews, which we have returned to, Joseph cures monster girls of cancer and Andrew studies his hardest to raise his high school ranking but just buys his grades when he fails.

We’re back with cinematic projections focused on the great and now late Sean Connery. Digging into the older and lesser talked films of his career, we tap into Name of the Rose(1986). Sean Connery is a monk with Christian Slater as his apprentice. They’re going to a church summit at a monastery where a murder has occurred. This leads to Connery investigating it while more die around them. Because it’s based on a book by Umberto Eco it goes nowhere in spite of a good premise. You know the drill by now. It’s a manga show were two people do two manga. Let’s pretend we said something funny and snarky about a BOGO deal or something and move on. Tim has Goblin Is Very Strong. So there’s an MMO style world of vague RPG where there are levels and a “goblin” character stumbled into being level ninety nine. This week on Anime Pulse we got tooth aches, fast food Japanese deer, and a return to a return by death. Up first IRL news gets Joseph to talk about his potential Wisdom Tooth removal, and Andrew dig into some chocolates to learn who we would like to give and receive some from. Then in industry news Joseph takes a seat at the timelines as Andrew warns us about a new corporation team-up, and feeding leftover veggies and sweets to deer is not cool bro. Lastly is the last preview only show where Joseph goes back to teaching some dumb quintuplets, Andrew has an argument with toilet paper, and the two of them bid a surprising farewell to a floating cat spirit.

Looks like the house of mouse has stirred up a little controversy in their latest film. Due to the unspecified global event with a mysterious origin. Probably Australian kangaroo pox that moved from koala to humans headed to the EU. So we have Mulan: Rise of a Warrior[2009]. A movie turned out in mainland west Taiwan based on the legend of Mulan. We wanted to see how a the target audience turned out their own version. Turns out it’s a lot less singing dragons and a hair more wirefu.
