This week on the Travel Show we are finding our inner cowboy or cowgirl, donning our Stetsons and taking part in the Calgary Stampede – the Greatest Outdoor Show on Earth! The Stampede celebrates Western Culture with one of Canada’s most ebullient and diverse festivals. It’s Canada’s largest Music Festival and the whole city of Calgary joins in as over a million visitors flock to the Stampede each July. Hear about the Rodeo, the Chuck Wagon Races, the Midway food, the agricultural shows and more!

This week on the Travel Show we are going to bask in Florida’s year round sunshine as we visit the Beaches of Fort Myers and Sanibel. We are going to island hop with over 100 islands sprinkled around in the sparkling Gulf Coast waters. And there are exciting festivals all year round such as the Island Hopper Songwriter Fest. But this is also a relaxing vacation, with time for collecting beautiful shells on perfect white sand beaches. Where we can sit at a beachside restaurant and enjoy fresh and delicious seafood. This week the Travel Show is off on a Grand Tour to revel in the culture, history, amazing cities, castles, vineyards, scenery, beaches and cuisine of Europe. We will be city hopping, island hopping and sampling Mediterranean chic. This week Chris invites you to join him on a Great American Road Trip. Starting on the Pacific Coast, in San Francisco, Chris drives thousands of kilometers through the US Southwest, through California, Arizona and New Mexico. This week the Travel Show is off to Scotland - a favourite destination for Canadians with a unique culture and a creative and industrious people. This land of poets, artists and warriors has an often poignant history going back many centuries. Scotland offers stunning scenery and romantic castles that have inspired many a movie maker. It’s the country that brings you “The Golden Spurtle World Porridge Making Championships” alongside the world renowned architecture of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Ireland was definitely made for touring! This week the Travel Show explores Korea!
