Ben and Alex get into discussing Hektor and the value of a good demo, Steam summer sale buys like The Banner Saga, and card games for Witchers. The beers this week are an odd mix, as we had to make a Tesco run for them. These are Marstons Revolutionist Saison, Metripolitan Brewing Co Optical Infusion Golden Ale, and two from Sharps Brewery, the Atlantic Pale Ale and Wolf Rock Red IPA. Both Ben and Alex played a small portion of ‘Salvaged’ Opposable Games current in development project and give their impression on it. A short but sweet episode for you all this week. Ben, Alex and Aadil are back together, with a few technical difficulties, to discuss a game they’ve each played over only 2 beers. Aadil ventures into Marvel Heroes 2015. Alex has the shit scared out of him playing Hektor and Ben tries his hand at some Mexican wrestling in Guacamelee. Ben is joined by Aadil this week from across the Atlantic via the power of the internet. As we’re in different countries, and can’t get our hands on the same beers, the craftbeers Aadil and Ben drink are different. these beers include Shock Top Belgian Whit, Signature Brew Vienna Lager and Beavertown Smog Rocket Smoked Porter. The games we discuss include Aadil’s issues with GTA 5 and Ben delving deeper into The Witcher 3. As Xcom 2 and Fallout 4 were revealed this week we also chat about sequels we would like to see.

This week Ben discusses his first impressions of The Witcher 3 which he has been looking forward to. Alex has been getting deeper into Zombie mode in Call of Duty and recalls its origins. We also discuss the difficulty of gaming around our busy lives and if our gaming habits have changed with age. Finally we give our thoughts on Meantime Brewing being purchased by the monster that is SABMiller. For just the two of us we get through some beers! As it’s Aadil’s last week with us in the flesh we wanted to give him a beery send off so we ventured out to The Beer Emporium in Bristol and had some great craftbeers. It’s a classy place and you should visit. Oh and there’s an election on this week. As such we’ve decided to talk about the videogames we’ve played including, Fifa 14, Endless Legend Guardians & Democracy 3 which leads us into our discussion topic of politics in games. All of the beers this week are on tap so we consumed more than normal. This week Honest Brew gave us a plethora of Buxton brewery craftbeers which we destroy. These are High Tor India Red Ale, Axe Edge IPA, Nth Cloud Double IPA & Wolfscote Black Sour. Whilst we drink we discuss the games we’ve been playing which includes COD Blops, Final Fantasy X, Never Alone and Heroes of the Storm.
