38-year-old Dona Mae Bayerl disappeared on May 6, 1979 after an argument with her husband, John. Back in 2018, we covered Dona Mae's story in a three-part series. In early 2019, John Bayerl was charged with Dona Mae's murder. John Bayerl was later convicted and sentenced to life in prison. On September 23, 1989, 23-year-old Adrian Planells said goodbye to his little sister, Barbara, and headed out the door to go to work. That was the last time Barbara ever saw or spoke to her brother. Adrian went to work that night and clocked out in the early morning hours of the 24th. He had a beer with coworkers at a nearby bar before heading home with the intent to study for an upcoming college exam. That is the last time anyone reported seeing Adrian Planells. On October 22, 2013, Dean Morrison was let go from his painting job at a ranch southeast of Kamloops, British Columbia. His truck wasn’t working properly and Dean seemed out of sorts. Dean's boss offered to call a tow truck for him that morning and asked him to find a ride home. Sometime between the time the tow truck was called and its arrival several hours later, Dean disappeared. On July 13, 2018, Paul and Stephanie Miller were finishing up their vacation in southern California and preparing to drive to Las Vegas to catch their flight home to Ontario. That morning, Paul told Stephanie he wanted to get in one last quick hike. Stephanie decided to stay behind and finish packing up their belongings while Paul headed off to the Joshua Tree National Park for a short hike on the the 49 Palms Oasis Trail. Paul was spotted on the trail but he never made it back to their motel room. In the hours after he went missing, a massive search ensued. On July 6, 2019, 25-year-old Chance Englebert spent the day golfing with family in Gering, Nebraska. He left with his wife, Baylee, and their infant son. Together, they went to Baylee's grandparents’ house to pick up a few things. According to Baylee, it was in her grandparents’ driveway around 7:30 PM that Chance got out of the car and walked away heading toward Terrytown. In October of 2011, 27-year-old Kelli Cribbs Abad was living in Japan with her husband and two young children. Her husband, Vince, was stationed at the Kadena Air Base in Okinawa. On the evening of October 26, 2011, Kelli tucked her children into bed after she returned home from church. Her husband stayed behind at church to meet with their pastor. According to him, when he returned home, he couldn’t find any trace of Kelli and her car was gone. Kelli's vehicle was found abandoned three days later. On July 24, 2018, Marty Teague was last seen around noon near his home in Statesville, NC. Within his home he left behind his cell phone, money and daily medication that he needed. Marty’s disappearance shook the core of his family. He was a devoted father and grandfather. 17-year-old Randy Leach left his home in Linwood, Kansas on April 15, 1988. He planned to run some errands and then ended up at an early graduation party for a classmate. Witnesses remember Randy being at the party, but aren’t exactly sure when he left. Sometime after midnight, a friend planned to drive Randy home. The friend left to drive another friend home first but told Randy he would be back. When his friend returned, both Randy and the grey 1985 Dodge 600 sedan he was driving were gone. Randy and the Dodge 600 were never seen again. 35-year-old Jonathan Estes hasn't been heard from since June 2, 2018. He had spoken to his best friend and boss that day, he told both of them that he was at his home in Bogue Chitto, Mississippi and was going to speak to the police about allegations his estranged wife had made against him. February 3, 2013 was the last time 19-year-old Emily Hieber posted to Facebook. Prior to that date, she had frequent and consistent posts. By February 6, her phone was no longer in service. Six weeks later, on March 26, 2013, her grandfather reported Emily missing to the Yuma, Arizona Police Department after nearly two months of no contact. Emily has never been seen or heard from again. On May 8, 2013, 69-year-old John Brewer, former captain of the Davidson County Sheriff's Office, left his residence in Nashville, TN and took a taxi to his bank which was located in Pegram, TN. Once there, he asked for $500 cash and started acting strangely in the bank. Eventually, the bank staff asked John to leave and closed his account. He was last seen walking out of the bank and getting into a cab. 34-year-old Teresa Davidson-Murphy disappeared from Rainier, Oregon in October of 1999. At the time, she was living with her second husband and her daughter. Her daughter last saw her on October 7th, when her mother dropped her off for a sleepover that was due to last 3 days. That same day, her husband said that he left to go camping in Washington. Her daughter spoke to her two days later on October 9th and thought her mom didn’t sound like herself. Teresa was due to pick up her daughter the following day on the 10th but she never showed. Most of Theresa’s belongings and her vehicle were at her home but there was no sign of Teresa. On May 23, 1993, 14-year-old Danielle Pitcher left the family home with her mother, Dorothy to walk to the local convenience store in Sunizona, Arizona to buy some cigarettes for her father. On their way, they stopped at Danielle’s sister's house, and then continued on their walk. On January 4, 2019, 22-year-old Savannah Spurlock wanted a night out on the town. A few weeks prior, Savannah had given birth to twins making her a mother of 4 young children. Her mother, Ellen, could see that she needed a break so after her older children were tucked safely into their beds, Savannah went out with a girlfriend to a bar in Lexington, KY around 10pm. This was supposed to be a night filled with fun and a chance to cut loose. The evening didn't go as planned after Savannah and her friend got into an argument and separated. Savannah later left the bar with three men she had met that evening. Savannah called her mother via face time and let her know that everything was fine and that she would be home in a few hours. This was the last time that anyone would speak to her Savannah.The police asked for help from the public in identifying the men that Savannah was with the night she went missing. By the end of January, all three men that Savannah interacted with on the night of her disappearan

On Monday, October 14, 2002, Amy Sher left her job at the Lahey Clinic earlier than usual. On Tuesday and Wednesday she called in sick to work. And then on Thursday, October 17, her husband Robert Desmond called in sick for her and told Amy’s employer that she would not be returning to work. He called back on Friday to ask for Amy’s supervisor’s email address, stating that she was not able to send an email herself. Later, when asked by police where his wife had gone, Robert Desmond told them that he had dropped her off at a train station and that he had not seen her since but this wasn’t the first time Amy had disappeared. She fell out of sight long before that fateful October day, when her abusive husband forced her to refuse contact with her family and friends. In the early morning hours of March 9, 2019, 25 year old Aubrey Dameron allegedly left the home that she shared with her mother and several other family members in Grove, Oklahoma. Her mom says that Aubrey told her that she was going to meet someone. Her phone last pinged around that same time in the area of her mother's home. David Kallenberger disappeared on March 15th, 2016. He had left his home in Lafayette, Indiana on his motorcycle and was headed to Florida to visit with his sister. At 3:20 PM that day, a state trooper came upon David broken down on Highway 65 in the area of Franklin, Indiana. The trooper asked David if he needed help but David told him that he had already called for help. Hours later, the trooper passed through the area again. David’s motorcycle was still there but there was no trace of David. On June 20, 2000, 30-year-old Debra Melo left her doctor’s office and got into the family car with her husband Luis. As they drove along Route 18 in Weymouth, Massachusetts, Luis said that they got into an argument and Debra asked to be let out of the vehicle. Luis claims that she got out of the car without her purse or the items she purchased from the doctor’s office. In September of 2017, 18-year-old Corinna Slusser went missing. In the years prior to her disappearance, the Bloomsburg, Pennsylvania native lost all interest in high school. Her grades began to slip and she would have had to go to summer school in order to graduate, but Corinna had different plans. She dropped out of Bloomsburg Area High School and set her eyes towards the future. She wanted to move in with her Aunt who lived in Massachusetts in 2018 due to the fact that her and her mother, Sabina, were not getting along. However, this move would never happen. A few months before Corinna went missing, she had met a man by the name of Yhovanny Peguero. Yhovanny told Corinna that he would be able to help her get a place to stay in New York City. In August of 2017, Corinna picked up and went to the big apple. She only took her cell phone and ID with her. She left all of her other belongings behind. A month later, Corinna disappeared and she is believed to have been the victim of human trafficking. If you h

On May 24, 2017, 27-year-old Zacharey Wilks left his home in Lompoc, California to make the familiar drive to his uncle’s residence in Las Vegas, Nevada. He planned to spend some time helping his uncle prepare the family’s vacation home for summer guests and also enjoy seeing his relatives. However, Zacharey never made it, and neither he nor his car have ever been seen again.
