The Seahawks were down three starting offensive linemen heading into Week 3 of the season and facing one of the league's most better pass rushers. Still, the Seattle offense managed more than 150 yards rushing and 300+ receiving on the day on their way to a 37-27 victory. Yes, the defense had some issues throughout the game and even Geno failed to connect on some key moments, and we talk about those rough moments as well as some of the best moments. Results were a mixed back last week. One co-host was skunked, another made a few bucks, and someone's wagers paid off big. Will there be another parlay party this week? Did the hopes for the Seahawks 2023 season hang on the result of a coin flip? If Geno Smith doesn't get the ball in overtime with a chance at redemption, then our postgame commentary about our quarterback would have been much more critical. Ken Walker and Tyler Lockett each scored two touchdowns, including the game winner by Lockett. Tyler explained why he decided to go against one of the team's primary coaching points and, of course, Coach Carroll took no issue with it. The Carolina Panthers come into town with the first pick overall leading the team at quarterback. Just like the Seahawks, the Panthers are playing without two of their starting offensive lineman. Dre'mont Jones could be due for a big game in the interior of the defensive line. The Seahawks may also need him to help stop a rushing attack led by Miles Sanders. Tyler Lockett scored the game winning touchdown in overtime to help the Seahawks get the win on the road in Detroit. Lockett joined Ken Walker who had two touchdowns on the ground. Geno Smith, despite having two injured starting tackles, hung in the pocket to deliver some strikes at least a half dozen times. We go through the ups and down from this Week 2 matchup in our live reaction show.

The problem with having high expectations going into the season is that just one half of football can make a fan believe that it was all a mirage. Jake Bobo did it! An undrafted wide receiver we were all rooting for actually pulled it off. But even though Bobo pulled through, there were some other cuts who we wanted to make the 53-man roster. Adam and Brandan go through the cuts, discuss which areas of the team have the strongest depth and which ones could still use some help as the Seahawks head into the regular season.
