This week Pastor Doug brings us to Matthew 9:35-38. As we look at Jesus' words regarding the harvest and workers, we will learn what effective evangelism looks like and how we can truly love our neighbors and tell them the full truth of the Gospel.

This week, Pastor Doug brings us to 1 Timothy 4:11-14. As we continue our series, Children in the Bible, we come to not a child but a young man named Timothy and see what Paul's words to him have to teach all of us.

As we continue our series called Children in the Bible, Pastor Doug brings us to 2 Chronicles 34 and the story of Josiah. Becoming king at just eight years old, we see how God can make great changes through anyone who is willing and rightly worshipping Him.

On this special Sunday, three children in our church decide to publicly profess faith in Jesus Christ and be Baptized. Following the baptism, Pastor Doug continues our series by looking at the early life of the Old Testament prophet, Samuel, found in 1 Samuel 3:1-11. Some people are called by God, but in Samuels case, it was quite literal.

This week Pastor Doug begins our new series entitled Children in the Bible. Today we focus on David's story found in 1 Samuel 17:32-51. When confronted with the threat of Goliath, we see that David already has a king sized faith, hope, and trust in God alone.

As we lead up to Easter, Katy Axtell teaches on Isaiah 53:1-6. This prophetic word from the old testament prophet Isaiah we see fulfilled in Jesus, the promised Messiah.

This week we joined with Covered House Ministries to have a combined music worship experience. The message is by Bishop J.D. Sapp of Covered Ministries.

As we conclude our series going through the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Doug teaches on Matthew 7:24-29. In this text we find Jesus giving us the most important choice we will ever make; who will we choose to build our life upon, Christ the Rock, or the sand of anything else.

This Sunday, we take a look at the real man behind the holiday, St. Patrick. Taking a brief overview of his evangelistic ministry of the gospel, we compare to the Apostle Pauls' calling in Romans 1:14-17. As Pastor Doug teaches through this scripture we are shown that as believers, we are all called to evangelize the gospel and not be ashamed of it.

Pastor Doug continues teaching through our series of the Sermon on the Mount. This week, we come to Matthew 7:21-23. As we've seen leading up to here, Jesus has been describing His kingdom; who we can become, how we can be if we follow Him, but now he gets personal in His words describing that many will claim to know Him, but, in fact, will not have known Him at all.

As we continue our series, How would Jesus live my life?, Pastor Doug teaches on Matthew 7:15-20. A pointed warning from Jesus about false teachers and how we can be on guard and defend the truth of the Word of God.

As we near the end of the Sermon on the Mount, we come to Matthew 7:13-14 where Jesus presents the strong and direct truth that few will walk the narrow path that leads to eternal life. In this an important question is presented, are we a fan or follower of Jesus?

As we continue our series through the Sermon on the Mount, Pastor Doug teaches through Matthew 7:7-12. In the text, we find Jesus bringing us to a closing point regarding prayer.

In this very special worship service, we have Covered Ministries join up for a group service. Both Pastor Doug and Bishop Sapp interview each other with questions posed by both congregations regarding issues of race and culture in order to break down walls and be more united in our Savior, Jesus Christ.

In this special service, Pastor Doug teaches on Acts 6:1-7 and we take part in the Ordination of Susan Lehr for Deacon.

In this special service, Pastor Doug Axtell shows us what the next year will hold for Murray Hill Baptist Church. By God's grace, we hope to see His glory more brightly shown and more lives in our community blessed.

Pastor Doug continues teaching through the sermon on the mount with our series How would Jesus live my life? As we come to Matthew 7:1-6, we find Jesus teach on judging. What is righteous and what is hypocritical for us as believers in the world.

Pastor Doug continues our series through the sermon on the mount by bringing us to Matthew 6:25-34. Through this part of scripture we will hear Jesus speak on the subject of worry. One that we have all known at some point in time, and one that we need to give up to Him.

Right before the new year we pick up in our series, How would Jesus live my life?. Jay Stuckey III takes us through Matthew 6:19-24 and expounds on Jesus' teaching regarding God and Money.

As we near Christmas Day, Pastor Doug teaches on The Nativity found in Luke 2:1-7. We will look at this short passage and examine the scene taking place, but more thoroughly, find implications that this has for all Christ followers.
