Many people are turned off by the church because some Christians do not display healthy fruit, a sign they spend time with Jesus. Trust takes patience. Don't rush the Artist. God's redemption doesn't erase whatever it was that happened to cause us regret. He takes our regret and uses it in the big picture to make something beautiful.

If regret has become a useless burden around your neck, it's time to drop it. Let it go. Release it. Now, what this release looks like depends on what has happened, who's responsible, and how you reacted to it. Without going through the stage of releasing your regrets, you will never really start over.

We want to learn from our regrets. God wants us to write a new storyline. He doesn't want your life story defined by or built around your regrets. We need to respond to them. We need to face them head on. We need to take 1 Peter 5:7 into account: "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you."

Everyone has regrets.  Regrets are universal. And they even fill the pages of God's Word.  We all make foolish choices, or something or someone does something hurtful to us and we regret it. If you remember from last week, I mentioned that Babylon not only represents the ancient evil city of Babylon, but it also represents the Roman Empire and the evil Satanic spirit of Babylon that we notice in other evil empires in the past and today. The details regarding the pouring out of the seven bowls of wrath are explained in chapters 17 & 18.

God's judgments come like a thief. No one ever thought they would fall. No world power thought they would be taken over by another. Yet history shows that nation after nation has risen and fallen. We must always be prepared to remain true to Jesus even if it becomes the time for our nation to receive judgment for its sins. God's judgment comes unexpectedly. God's final judgment will come like a thief.

Whether you realize it or not, Satan hates you and will do everything possible to keep you from loving and obeying your Creator. His anger is not just against Jesus and the Church. Why is he angry at you? Apparently, because he realizes that humans were created by God with the potential to be higher than he was.

We are in week four of our Revelation series. We are going through this amazing book, which is actually a letter written to the seven churches in Asia Minor or present-day Turkey. This letter was also written to us because it helps prepare us for the last days by showing us what must take place as we read in the very first verse of this book. Don't you feel like we could be living in the last days?

This week in our study of the book of Revelation, we go into the sixth chapter where the Apostle John has his vision of the scroll with the Seven Seals.

In this continuation of our series through the book of Revelation, we will be looking at the Throne of God. You will see things that will bring hope for your future. When you keep in mind that God is on His throne, all else falls away.
