Olympic 100m champion Marcell Jacobs of Italy is one of the featured athletes who will compete in Saturday's Kip Keino Classic in Nairobi, Kenya. Prinsloo and the Tigers qualified for next month's BAL Playoffs in Kigali, Rwanda. The 30-year-old South African center will talk about the Cape Town team and its recent Nile Conference campaign in Cairo, Egypt as well as his own personal basketball journey, which has seen him play for professional teams based in El Salvador, Nicaragua, Bolivia, Venezuela, Nigeria and Mozambique.

Olympic champion Jepchirchir won a thrilling race (in 2:21:01) against Ethiopia's Ababel Yeshaneh. In a seesaw sprint to the finish line, the two traded places eight times in the final mile.

Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum celebrated his buzzer-beating layup Sunday when the Celtics edged the visiting Brooklyn Nets, 115-114, in a first round NBA playoff series. On Thursday's show, we'll hear from Cobra Sport's Padiet Wang, who scored a game-high 24 points Wednesday to help lead the South Sudanese basketball club to a 104-88 victory over Espoir Fukash of the Democratic Republic of Congo. It was Cobra Sport's first ever Basketball Africa League win, and South Sudanese fans celebrated inside and outside the arena in Cairo, Egypt. Sonny will have some post-game analysis of the win by Cobra Sport as well as the first BAL victory for South Africa's Cape Town Tigers team.
