Elon Musk's SpaceX Starship Update: Preparing for Orbital Flight Test
17/01/2023 Duração: 11minSpaceX has assembled Starship 24 and Super Heavy Booster 7 for the third time in three months, following separate tests, repairs, and modifications. The fully-stacked rocket measures around 120 meters tall, making it the largest ever assembled. Starship is far larger than the Falcon 9 and Falcon Heavy rockets currently operated by SpaceX and is also intended to be fully reusable. If the company can achieve its technical goals, the cost of launching with Starship could be about a tenth of that of Falcon, while carrying 5-20 times more payload per launch, potentially revolutionizing access to orbit. #spacex #elonmusk #starship ►► https://starshipshirts.com ►► https://discord.gg/dMXghpX ►► https://twitch.tv/spacenewspod ►► https://facebook.com/spacenewspod ►► https://patreon.com/spacenewspod ►► https://twitter.com/spacenewspod ►► https://instagram.com/thespacenewspod ►► https://gofund.me/0c6956f4

SPACEX readies for the most important launch in history
13/01/2023 Duração: 19minIn this episode, we will be discussing the journey of SpaceX Super Heavy B7, a steel rocket built by SpaceX. The 69-meter-tall, 9-meter-wide rocket has undergone continuous testing, repairs, upgrades, and more testing over the past nine months. Despite facing severe damages in April and July, requiring weeks of substantial repairs, the Starship booster has not been permanently crippled and testing has been cautious but largely successful. On January 8th, 2023, Super Heavy B7 was rolled back to the orbital launch site (OLS). According to statements made by CEO Elon Musk , the last major standalone test between Booster 7 and flight readiness is a full 33-engine static fire. Together, B7's 33 Raptor 2 engines could produce up to 7600 tons (16.7 million lbf) of thrust at sea level, making it the most powerful rocket stage in the history of spaceflight. Tune in as we follow the journey of Super Heavy B7 and Ship 24 and updates on SpaceX's progress.

NASA hires a Texas business to build a moon base.
29/12/2022 Duração: 03minA Texas-based startup is developing a ground-breaking technology that may completely alter how we construct on the moon. The Austin-based startup ICON is creating a 3D printer that melts the lunar dirt and builds structures layer by layer using a laser system. Because it would enable us to construct nearly any architecture on the moon and save NASA billions of dollars in the process, this technology could have a significant impact on space exploration. Aluminized materials and other building supplies had to be launched into space by NASA, which made construction on the moon historically very expensive. Considering that each kilogram of freight delivered to the moon costs more than $1 million, finding a technique to construct utilizing the given resources is important. #NASA #News #texas

HUGE SpaceX News - SpaceX launches First gen2 Starlink Satellites
29/12/2022 Duração: 17minSpaceX launched the first batch of a new generation of Starlink satellites into orbit early Wednesday (Dec. 28) and nailed a rocket landing at sea to mark a record 60th flight of the year. A Falcon 9 rocket topped with 54 upgraded Starlink internet satellites — the first generation 2 (Gen2) versions of the SpaceX fleet — lit up the predawn sky with a smooth launch at 4:34 a.m. EST (0934 GMT) from the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station in Florida. Under our new license, we are now able to deploy satellites to new orbits that will add even more capacity to the network, Jesse Anderson, a SpaceX production and engineering manager, said during live launch commentary. Ultimately, this enables us to add more customers and provide faster service, particularly in areas that are currently oversubscribed. #spacex #elonmusk #news

Elon Musk Says SEC violates his free speech + Starlink exceeds 1 million users
28/12/2022 Duração: 10minThe U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission is denying allegations that it is violating Elon Musk's free speech rights by trying to enforce a 2018 securities fraud settlement. The commission, in an appeals brief filed late Thursday, said Musk, the chief executive of Tesla, waived his First Amendment rights by agreeing to the settlement and amendments. It also rejected Musk's argument to scrap the agreement because he signed it under financial duress and didn't understand it. #elonmusk #business #news

SpaceX Starship Orbital Flight Test Updates
24/12/2022 Duração: 09minSpaceX is gearing up for a key test of its immense rocket that is designed for commercial launches, as well as the Mars mission Elon Musk has long sought. Near a beach east of Brownsville, Texas, employees at Mr. Musk’s space company are preparing for the inaugural orbital flight of Starship, the towering rocket system the company has been developing for years to one day launch into deep space. The initial test mission would last around 90 minutes, beginning with a fiery blast of the ship’s booster over the Gulf of Mexico, SpaceX has said in a regulatory filing. It isn’t clear when SpaceX will attempt the first flight, after dates Mr. Musk has discussed came and went. Some officials at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration, a customer for a version of Starship, previously said they thought the mission could occur in early December. Mr. Musk, who acquired Twitter Inc. and recently delivered Tesla Inc.’s first all-electric semitrailer trucks, has described getting Starship into orb

The Starbase Karen Incident
20/12/2022 Duração: 24minSpaceX is building a gigantic rocket, 400 feet tall, down in Boca, Chica, Texas, it's star Base, and I spent about 10 months there. And I want to share these experiences with you. I think everybody that I met down there was really nice. I don't think there was only one person. And this is the interesting thing, this is the funny thing that I wanna tell you. It was a couple days before Elon did his February talk about a February, 2022. Talk about the state of star base and SpaceX's Starship. So I was there to cover the event. I was there to cover the stacking of the Starship, all that stuff. I was right down there. I was in the trenches for like 10 months. And this is the thing, I parked right around here, actually. It was. I was trying to get a shot. You can kind of get a good shot from like right around here. And if you look over, you can see the orbital launch mount over here, right? The orbital launchpad, the orbit launch mount. You could see everything stacked up and I was filming from over here and
