Russell Jack, a former US Federal Air Marshal, spent years inside the government, working alongside MAGA supporters and has decades of experience in detecting, deterring, and defeating terrorism and criminal activity has written a book called Is MAGA a Terrorist Movement? I've not read the book, which you can buy here if you want, but I've got to hear this.

COLORADO DEMS TRY TO ENFORCE NEWSPEAK AT THE CAPITOL By giving Republicans a list of words they can't use when talking about immigration. Including "illegal alien" which has been used historically for over a century to speak of people who came here without going through proper immigration channels. This is after they gaveled out speakers who used the proper names of drag queens while testifying. Imagine if Republicans told Democrats the words they can and can't use, there would be outrage from all corners

TAKING FROM PETER TO PAY PAUL IS NOT HOW TO FIX SCHOOL FUNDING School funding in Colorado is a complex matter. A lot of people think that what they pay in property taxes stays in their local district but that isn't how it works. Now members of the Legislature are working to "fix" the funding formula but I see some glaring flaws in what is being discussed, not the least of which is how are we going to pay for all of this when the Education fund runs dry in a couple of years? You can read the bill here if you'd like but hoo boy is it complicated. That's why I asked DougCo Superintendent Erin Kane to come on at 2:30 to talk about what this would mean for her district and others.
