Who is it that God created you to be? Answering the question requires an honest look at what is and what can be. Calmly accepting the truths that we are both sinners made of dust AND masterpieces where the Holy Spirit dwells might be a lot to get to the bottom of, but seeing ourselves with God's eyes can lead to transformation.

If fear were about a precarious world then there would be little we could do about it. But what if fear was about more than just our circumstances? What if fear was about us? Our fears, they reveal what we cherish. But they might also reveal what we worship.

Friendship. Maybe it's something as simple as a shared interest or a few things in common. Maybe it's an enjoyable talent for conversation. But once in a while... every now and then... friendship thickens to unwavering loyalty, longing the best for one another, going dangerously honest places. And that's when something Divine happens. Divinity, I've discovered, usually can't be forced. For me, it is almost always a grand surprise.
