Join Seminars@Hadley as Chief Librarian of the Andrew Heiskell Braille and Talking Book Library Caroline Ashby and the library's Assistive Technology Coordinator Chancey Fleet discuss the easy-to-use technology that will make your life more enjoyable. They will also cover resources for accessible reading material, including Bookshare, NFB-Newsline and podcasts - free audio programs available on your computer, smartphone or tablet.

This seminar will explore the causes of low vision as well as its effects on the increasing number of people who experience a decline in being able to see well. We will talk about who becomes low vision and why. Also, there will be a discussion of practical skills that can be learned to overcome the daily difficulties and frustrations.
