this fireside Q&A that I did back in November in Phoenix was really really on fire - bringing up the benefit of getting to know your employees, and how that really can affect their happiness, my thoughts around the future of crowdfunding, and why I don't consume ANYONE else's content. Lots of good stuff here

Kicking off my trip to the UAE, I was honored to host this breakfast round table, taking questions around company culture, identifying culture shifts, and the importance of creating great content to boost a brand's presence in an increasingly mobile world

Wanted to make this, really just expanding & closing out 2018, and showing you all what I'm most excited for and fired up about in 2019  

Loved hanging with the guys over at Virgin Radio while I was in Dubai, talking about how recognizing fads and growth ahead of time was a massive opportunity - investing in Google ads, Facebook ads, a YouTube channel and more helped me grow my brand to where it is today, as well as Wine Library and Vaynermedia. We then get deep and start talking around the mentality that arises when you stop caring about other people's opinions, and roll into a cool live Q&A.

I don't want to watch netflix, go skiing, go to a beer garden - none of that sounds FUN to me. But it might be fun to you. This quick mashup is 100% about doing the things that YOU enjoy and not letting other people dictate what you should be doing with your time... If you want to work, work.

Loved loved loved sitting down with Jason Khalipa, sitting down to talk about how I have my schedule down to a science, how that integrates with my family, and how and why I view needing to make myself happy to make the other important stuff in my life happy. Guys, this was a big one, and a type of episode that I want to start pushing out a lot more. This is from a VIP strategy session in Phoenix where I sat down with a bunch of people to talk the economic collapse, extremes, the event business and a bunch more. This is one you need to hear! 

These three different original pieces all include different themes of winning - I go in and talk about family businesses and what it was like growing Wine Library, Vaynermedia, Vaynersports all as what essentially started as a family business -  then move into talking about a subject that stems from the topic of family - not letting anyone else judge what you're doing, moving into making sure you're living humbly and not being fancy.

It blows me away that people don’t realize that complaining about someone is actually giving them mental leverage over you. As I reflect on it, the reason I don’t complain is probably more out of competitiveness than anything else — I just don’t want to give you the satisfaction that you have any say in how my life is going to play out. No one has say -- not my teachers, not the current state of political correctness, nothing. This isn’t coming from a negative place, or wanting to secretly hurt other people that have hurt me. It’s about coming from a place of confidence and control.

There's only one way to achieve what you're trying to, whether that's success, fame, money or anything in between - and that's by putting in the work.

Stop complaining, stop judging, stop making excuses for yourself or others - once you start recognizing these super important facts, you begin to really excel...

Loved loved loved having Maddie & her father on the show - Maddie's a super special 8th grader who took her love for creating, slime and entrepreneurship and started a business in both selling slime & hosting events in the space. This was a really cool episode that I hope you all enjoy

I genuinely believe that the world is giving the “wrong” information to 20-somethings. This is not the time to go “safe” and “practical.” This is the time to be massively risk oriented. It’s time to go live in Bali for a year, or try to become Beyonce, or live with 8 roommates in a studio apartment hustling towards your passion. I have empathy for things like student debt … but this is the time to make the high risk moves around the things that’ll make you the happiest, even if you have to work more (or take a night shift job while you focus on your passion during the day). My advice for college grads who are trying to figure it out: Either work for someone who you want to become, or go all in on your own craft.

This keynote started out with a serrrriously fire Q&A - talking about the decision going to university - and how entrepreneurship being on a pedestal forces a view of "you need to be successful by 22".  Then going in to expanding on why I think eSports is going to be such a massively successful industry and what I mean when I say "you need to be making 500 pieces of content".
